Why Box needs you:
As a Senior Software Engineer on the Partner Integrations team at Box Poland, you'll be part of a team that builds and maintains apps, product integrations, and frameworks for Box's most strategic partners — including big tech companies. In this role, you will work on medium and large-scale projects alongside a dedicated development team and Product Manager, driving the development of new integration versions that bring new features and capabilities to our partners. The Partner Integrations team is a pillar of the company, and your work will have a direct and meaningful impact on how Box's platform extends into the broader ecosystem.
What you'll do:
- Attend and engage in daily stand-ups, maintain sprint tasks, and keep your work visible and up to date in project tracking tools
- Attend weekly team meetings, project syncs, and manager 1:1s to stay aligned on priorities and progress
- Collaborate closely with the Product Manager to refine requirements, clarify scope, and ensure technical solutions meet business needs
- Work collaboratively with other engineers, team members, and external partners across teams and time zones
- Respond constructively to feedback and continuously improve the quality and reliability of your work
- Play a role in developing and fostering Box culture in our Poland office
- Represent Box Poland internally and externally
- Participate in our on-call rotation, available at all times while on-call to help respond to and triage any issues that arise
Who you are:

- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Proficient in one or more modern programming languages such as Java, PHP, C#, Node.js, React.js, Python, or Ruby
- Strong understanding of software design principles and testing methodologies
- Ability to assess, communicate, and complete project milestones with your manager and team members in a time-sensitive manner
- Able to adapt to varying technical and stylistic requirements across different integration projects
- Able to review technical feasibility of proposed solutions and provide clear recommendations
- Comfortable acting as a technical expert and guide for junior engineers on the team
- Experience providing product support and troubleshooting issues in production environments
- Must speak English proficiently
Preferred Skills:
- Prior experience building partner or third-party integrations
- Familiarity with Kubernetes and containerized deployment environments
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
- Leading or contributing to cross-functional projects
