Job Summary
This role is responsible for ensuring the technical design, development, installation, and maintenance of state-of-the-art software applications and services for the company. The role plays a crucial role in building technical solutions to help other developers/engineers deliver faster with modern software and application development tools. The role is responsible for technical need analysis and project management. The role builds & maintains relationships with stakeholders across different departments and provide guidance & coaching to reportees in executing their tasks/responsibilities.

Responsibilities

GPU Systems Architecture

• Design and implement low-level GPU integration across Linux and Windows.
• Develop platform architecture supporting AMD, NVIDIA, Intel, and emerging ARM-based systems.
• Drive graphics subsystem design for high-performance remote visualization workloads.

Performance Engineering

• Profile, analyze, and optimize GPU workloads.
• Identify bottlenecks across graphics APIs, drivers, operating systems, networking, and hardware.
• Develop tools and methodologies for performance characterization and benchmarking.

Distributed Rendering Technologies

Build core infrastructure for:

• Distributed caching

• Distributed ray tracing
• Remote rendering
• Multi-GPU workload orchestration
• Collaborate on scalable rendering architectures for cloud and hybrid deployments.

Platform Enablement

• Extend HP Boost support for AMD GPUs and ARM platforms.
• Evaluate emerging GPU technologies and hardware platforms.
• Validate compatibility across workstation, cloud, and edge environments.

Customer-Facing Technical Leadership

• Partner directly with strategic customers and partners.
• Investigate production issues and optimize real-world deployments.
• Translate customer requirements into platform capabilities and roadmap recommendations.

Full-Stack Debugging

• Debug issues spanning:
  • Vulkan
  • OpenGL
  • DirectX
  • GPU drivers
  • Operating systems
  • Networking layers
  • Hardware interactions
• Lead root-cause analysis for complex graphics and performance problems.

Education & Experience Recommended

Technical Experience

• 5+ years of experience in graphics, GPU software, rendering, visualization, or systems programming.
• Strong C++ development skills.
• Deep understanding of GPU architecture and graphics pipelines.
• Experience with Linux and Windows system internals.

Graphics Technologies

Strong experience with one or more:

• Vulkan
• DirectX 12
• OpenGL
• CUDA
• HIP
• ROCm

Performance Analysis

Experience using tools such as:

• Radeon GPU Profiler
• Radeon Developer Tools
• Nsight Systems
• Nsight Graphics
• GPUView
• Perf
• VTune

Platform Experience

Experience with:

• AMD GPUs
• NVIDIA GPUs
• Intel GPUs

• Strong preference for:

• ARM64 platforms
• AMD ROCm ecosystem

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience developing graphics drivers or working closely with GPU vendors.

• Experience in distributed rendering systems.
• Experience with ray tracing technologies:
  • Vulkan Ray Tracing
  • DXR
  • Embree
  • OptiX
• Experience with cloud GPU deployments.
• Experience with remote workstation technologies such as HP Anyware, Teradici, NICE DCV, Omniverse, or similar solutions.
• Contributions to graphics or GPU-related open-source projects.
