As a Senior Software Engineer, you will lead the design and development of core systems that drive lifecycle engagement of the company, personalized marketing automation (Martech), and strategic partnership integrations. You'll own large-scale, high-concurrency systems end-to-end—from real-time event tracking and reward engines to partner sync pipelines—operating with autonomy and shaping the technical architecture of our ecosystem. This role is ideal for engineers who excel at solving complex distributed data problems, building scalable backend services, and mentoring others toward engineering excellence.

About the Team

Our team sits at the intersection of user retention, growth, and ecosystem monetization. We build and scale the platforms that power our automated engagement campaigns and seamless integrations with external partners and brands.

Whether we are processing high-throughput event streams for real-time personalization, orchestrating complex cross-channel martech workflows, or managing high-availability transactional data stores, our engineering focus is on resilience, speed, and clean architecture. If you are passionate about building systems that directly impact millions of users' retention and engagement journeys, we'd love to talk.

• Own end-to-end delivery of complex backend projects, from technical design to deployment and monitoring
• Write high-quality, maintainable code, and ensure rigorous testing and fault tolerance
• Drive architectural decisions and influence long-term engineering strategy for the team
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Data Scientists, and cross-functional teams to translate business needs into tech solutions
• Take ownership of operational excellence, including performance tuning, incident response, and root cause analysis
• Mentor junior engineers, conduct technical deep dives and code reviews, and foster a culture of knowledge sharing

Requirements

• 4-6 years of experience in backend development
• Proficiency in Java, Golang, or Python

• Experience designing and building distributed systems at scale
• Strong understanding of storage systems, query performance, and caching strategies
• specifically experience with Amazon DynamoDB (single-platform design, partition keys, GSIs) and relational stores.
• experience with distributed caching strategies and tools
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred), messaging systems (Kafka), CI/CD pipelines (Github Actions and Docker)
• Proven ability to work autonomously, prioritize tasks, and manage delivery timelines in fast-paced environments
• You are passionate about growing engineers and leading by example
