Liquid Personnel is recruiting a Children’s Social Worker to join its client’s Duty and Assessment team, based in Shropshire.
What will your responsibilities be?
- Completing Social Work Assessments (SWA).Undertaking Section 47 (S47) Child Protection enquiries.
- Completing Section 7 (S7) reports.
- Completing Section 37 (S37) reports.
- Completing initial Child in Need (CIN) assessments.
- Attending and completing Child Protection (CP) Core Groups.
- Preparing court statements when required.
- Preparing care plans for initial court hearings.
- Attending initial court hearings where necessary.
- Participating in the duty rota every other week, requiring office attendance.
- Managing workload independently when off duty, including:
- Home working.
- Completing follow-up visits.
- Updating assessments and case records.
- Progressing casework and interventions.

Qualifications and Experience:
To be successful in this role you must have;
- Social Work England registration
- Eligible to work in the UK
- Hold a full UK driving licence
- Post-qualified experience
- Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
