Seeking a creative, experienced Senior Social Media Strategist to support Meta's Developer Marketing team within its Business Growth Marketing organization.

This is a highly visible opportunity for a hands on social media professional who knows how to build audiences, drive organic growth, create compelling content, and develop meaningful community engagement.

The ideal candidate brings experience working with consumer facing brands, building organic social programs, and developing video focused and creator driven content that generates measurable results.

This role combines strategic ownership with direct execution. You'll have the opportunity to shape social media strategy, develop scalable programs, implement AI powered workflows, and drive engagement across Meta's social channels.

Key Responsibilities

Organic Social Strategy & Content

• Own and execute organic social media strategy across Instagram, Facebook, Threads, YouTube, TikTok, X, LinkedIn, and Reddit.

• Develop and manage content calendars supporting ongoing engagement, product launches, and marketing initiatives.

• Create compelling, platform native content, including short form video, interactive content, and emerging social formats.

• Identify trends and cultural moments to develop relevant, timely content.

• Lead content ideation, storytelling, copywriting, and creative development.

Audience Growth & Community Engagement

• Develop strategies to increase organic followers, reach, engagement, and brand awareness.

• Build authentic relationships with online audiences through meaningful community engagement.

• Establish community management practices, response protocols, and brand voice guidelines.

• Monitor audience sentiment, identify relevant conversations, and translate insights into content improvements.

• Engage with communities and influential voices across social platforms.

Creator & Influencer Programs

• Manage creator and influencer initiatives, including sourcing, briefing, execution, and performance measurement.

• Build scalable creator management processes, databases, templates, and brand safety guidelines.

• Partner with agencies and content creators to develop authentic user generated content.

• Measure creator program performance and recommend optimizations.

AI, Social Tools & Analytics

• Evaluate and enhance social media publishing, listening, community management, creator management, and analytics tools.

• Incorporate AI powered tools and automation to improve content creation, engagement, and reporting.

• Monitor performance metrics and develop actionable insights to drive organic audience growth.

• Create regular performance reports highlighting engagement, reach, audience growth, and content effectiveness.

Cross Functional Collaboration

• Collaborate with brand, creative, product marketing, communications, and paid media teams.

• Partner with agency and platform partners to deliver high quality content and campaigns.

• Develop creative concepts and storytelling opportunities supporting product launches and brand initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• 5 to 8 years of hands on experience in organic social media strategy, content creation, publishing, and community management.

• Proven success driving measurable organic audience growth, engagement, and brand awareness.

• Strong experience across major social platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, Threads, YouTube, TikTok, X, LinkedIn, and Reddit.

• Demonstrated ability to create engaging video focused and platform native social content.

• Experience managing creator and influencer programs from development through execution and measurement.

• Hands on experience with social publishing, listening, community management, creator management, and analytics tools.

• Experience using AI powered tools to improve social media workflows, content production, or performance measurement.

• Strong writing, storytelling, and creative development capabilities.

• Ability to independently execute social media strategies in a fast paced environment.

• Strong analytical skills with experience translating performance data into actionable recommendations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting consumer facing or direct to consumer brands where organic social drove measurable growth.

• Experience building and scaling social media programs from an early stage.

• Portfolio demonstrating successful video content, creator partnerships, community engagement, and organic audience growth.

• Experience managing agency partnerships and influencer programs.

• Experience marketing technology products or engaging developer communities.

• Experience navigating sensitive communications and brand reputation management.
