Civica India is looking for a skilled, innovative, and self-driven senior engineer with significant experience across various aspects of the Salesforce platform who is eager to be part of a multicultural software company. The engineer will collaborate with the Salesforce team to guarantee that projects are thoughtfully envisioned, expertly developed, and successfully delivered to meet business requirements.
This role involves overseeing every stage, from capturing initial requirements to designing, constructing, ensuring quality, and final deployment.
- Design, develop, configure, and customise Salesforce solutions following best practices.
- Develop scalable applications using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and Salesforce Platform tools.
- Work closely with architects, business stakeholders, and project teams to translate requirements into high-quality technical solutions.
- Participate in solution design, development, testing, deployment, and production support activities.
- Build and maintain integrations between Salesforce and enterprise applications using APIs and web services.
- Take ownership of assigned modules, ensuring delivery on time and to a high standard.
- Contribute to governance and architecture initiatives to maintain platform quality, security, compliance, and reliability
- Support environment management, release management, and deployment processes.
- Stay current with Salesforce product releases, new features, and industry best practices.
Requirements
What you will need to be successful in this role:
Essential
- Minimum 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience.
- Strong expertise in:
- Apex
- Lightning Web Components (LWC)
- Visualforce
- Salesforce Platform development tools
- Proven experience delivering Salesforce solutions across the full software development lifecycle.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
- A proactive, collaborative, and customer-focused mindset.
Highly Desirable
- Strong experience with:
- REST APIs and web services
- JavaScript development
- Enterprise system integrations
- Corporate website integrations
- Bespoke application integrations
- Experience implementing and supporting:
- Single Sign-On (SSO)
- OAuth
- SAML
- Active Directory / ADFS
- Experience with Salesforce data migration, data modelling, and schema design.
- Experience integrating Salesforce with other Salesforce Clouds and third-party solutions such as:
- Eloqua
- AppExchange products
- Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns.
Nice to Have
- Legacy application modernisation and redevelopment experience.
- Azure DevOps knowledge.
- CI/CD and release management experience.
