Who We’re Looking For:

Easyship is a shipping technology platform that connects sellers and marketplaces to couriers. Beyond that, we also build and execute customized end-to-end shipping solutions for clients worldwide. These Logistics solutions can combine a number of partners and services, from global freight forwarding services to last-mile delivery. 

We’re looking for an experienced Project manager with good knowledge of ecommerce shipping, warehousing & fulfillment to oversee the delivery of these projects for our clients. Own part of the Easyship product by defining solutions in line with the product vision and strategy, coordinating with the design and engineering teams, in order to constantly create value for our users.

What you additionally need to know:

This is a full-time, onsite role based in our Bengaluru (MG Road) office. The role follows UK collaboration hours (11:00AM–8:00PM IST) to support seamless cross-regional execution.

What you would be responsible for:

• Owning the product strategy and roadmap for two squads: Finance (payments, billing, invoicing, fees and reconciliation) and Account Management (account lifecycle, verification, fraud and risk), with every roadmap item tied to a measurable business outcome.
• Reducing the cost of taking payments: shape payment method mix (e.g. Pay by Bank), multi-currency settlement, payment provider migrations across regions, and systematically root-cause and reduce payment failures, disputes and chargebacks.
• Growing revenue from the finance surface: fee and pricing structures, processing fees on chargeable items, reconciliation of taxes and duties adjustments, and accurate VAT/GST invoicing across every region we operate in.
• Owning the end-to-end account lifecycle, from sign-up and verification to user roles, team permissions, account settings and closure, so that genuine customers get through with minimal friction and bad actors do not.
• Defining and evolving fraud and risk controls across onboarding and payments, balancing loss prevention against conversion, in close partnership with Finance, Customer Experience and Compliance.
• Partnering with Finance and Accounting, Customer Experience, Sales, Legal and Engineering to deliver scalable solutions, and act as the single product point of contact for anything touching money or accounts.
• Establishing, monitoring and reporting on success metrics such as transaction cost as a percentage of GMV, payment success rate, dispute rate, revenue leakage, fraud losses, onboarding conversion and account-related support volume.
• Prioritising ruthlessly across two squads: define the MVP, ship quickly, measure success or failure, and iterate.
• Authoring and reviewing Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) and Opportunity Assessments that clearly document trade-offs, edge cases, compliance and data considerations before they go to engineering.
• Using AI tools hands-on in your own product workflow (discovery, analysis, PRD writing, data accuracy checks) and help raise the bar on AI adoption across the product team.
• Acting as a senior voice in the PM team, raising the quality bar on PRDs and mentoring less experienced PMs.

You Might Be a Good Fit If…

• You have 7+ years of product management experience, including at least 3 years owning payments, billing or fintech products in B2B SaaS, marketplaces or eCommerce.
• You have hands-on experience with payment service providers (e.g. Stripe, Adyen), local payment methods, multi-currency settlement, disputes and chargebacks, and payment reconciliation.
• You have nowledge of account and identity products: KYC/KYB, role-based access control, and fraud detection or risk-scoring tooling.
• You have an understanding of tax invoicing (VAT/GST) and the basics of revenue accounting, with a track record of working closely with Finance teams.
• You have proven ability to move business metrics such as cost, revenue and loss rates, with examples you can quantify.
• You have experience running more than one engineering squad or roadmap in parallel without losing depth on either.
• You have strong analytical skills; comfortable pulling and interpreting data yourself (SQL or equivalent).
• You have clear, structured written communication and the confidence to push back on engineering, stakeholders and leadership with evidence.
• You have practical, demonstrable use of AI tools in your day-to-day product work.
• You have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Finance or related field preferred.
