Job Description
As a Sr Product Manager at Partnerize, you will lead a dedicated cross-functional pod responsible for a specific area of the VantagePoint platform. You will own the pod’s product strategy, roadmap, discovery and delivery—working closely with engineering, product design and business stakeholders to solve meaningful customer problems and deliver measurable outcomes.
This is an individual-contributor role with significant product ownership. You will lead through influence and shared direction rather than through direct people management.
Focus of the Role
- Lead the product direction and day-to-day execution of a dedicated VantagePoint pod.
- Develop a deep understanding of the pod’s customers, users, market and business objectives.
- Translate customer and business needs into a clear product strategy and prioritized roadmap.
- Create alignment across engineering, design and commercial teams.
- Deliver product improvements that support customer satisfaction, adoption, retention and revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy
- Own the product strategy and roadmap for the VantagePoint capabilities within your pod.
- Work with product leadership and relevant department leaders to ensure the pod’s direction supports the wider company and product vision.
- Identify customer problems, market opportunities and product improvements through research, data and stakeholder feedback.
- Build clear business cases and define the expected customer and commercial outcomes of product initiatives.
- Communicate priorities, decisions and trade-offs clearly across business functions and geographies.
Discovery and Execution
- Lead the pod through the full product lifecycle, from problem discovery and validation through delivery, launch and iteration.
- Define the customer problems to solve and establish measurable goals for each initiative.
- Partner closely with engineering and product design to develop effective, usable and technically viable solutions.
- Ensure product requirements, user stories, designs, acceptance criteria and dependencies are ready for development.
- Facilitate prioritization and make informed trade-offs across customer value, business impact, technical effort and risk.
- Conduct customer interviews, usability studies, market analysis and competitor research, independently and alongside product design.
- Monitor delivery progress, manage product risks and communicate changes to scope or expected delivery dates.
- Continuously improve the pod’s ways of working to support effective discovery, decision-making and delivery.
- Analyze product performance and use insights to guide future improvements.
Pod Leadership
- Provide clear product direction and maintain alignment across the cross-functional pod.
- Create a shared understanding of the pod’s goals, priorities and measures of success.
- Lead through influence, strong communication and sound product judgment.
- Become a subject-matter expert for the pod’s area of the VantagePoint platform.
- Represent the pod and its product area with internal teams, customers and other external stakeholders.
- Support teams such as Sales, Customer Success, Marketing and Operations with product expertise and guidance.
- Contribute knowledge and best practices to the wider Product Management team.
Go-to-Market
- Develop the go-to-market approach for new products and enhancements delivered by the pod.
- Coordinate cross-functional launch activities to support successful adoption by internal teams and customers.
- Partner with Product Marketing to develop clear positioning, release communications and supporting materials.
- Ensure Sales, Customer Success and other customer-facing teams understand new capabilities and are prepared to support customers.
- Monitor adoption and customer feedback following release, using the findings to inform further improvements.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in a Product Management role.
- Experience owning a product, product area or roadmap and working with a dedicated cross-functional team.
- A proven record of delivering high-quality products in close partnership with engineering and product design.
- Strong customer-discovery, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience defining success measures and using qualitative and quantitative evidence to guide decisions.
- Excellent communication, collaboration and stakeholder-management skills.
- The ability to lead through influence and build alignment without formal authority.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in an Agile product-development environment.
- The ability to prioritize effectively and explain product decisions, roadmaps and trade-offs clearly.
- The ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
