The Role
As a Senior Product Designer at Circuit, you'll lead the creation of intuitive, high-impact experiences across web and mobile platforms. You'll own major product design end-to-end, from insight to implementation, driving solutions that solve real user needs at scale. You'll collaborate deeply with PMs, engineers, and leadership—bringing clarity to complexity, craft to strategy, and heart to every interaction. This is a unique opportunity to shape not just what we build, but how we build it — evolving our design systems, championing UX excellence, and influencing our product vision at a foundational level.
Key Responsibilities
Own design execution for roadmap initiatives, from problem framing through shipped product, in partnership with product.
Translate complex workflows and data into intuitive, elegant user experiences
Design for trust in AI-driven decisions — how users understand, verify, and act on agent recommendations, on desktop and in the field.
Lead discovery efforts—synthesizing insights from users, data, and stakeholders
Create high-fidelity designs and prototypes that are both visually polished and functionally robust
Collaborate closely with engineering and PM to define product direction and ensure design feasibility
Conduct and lead user research, usability testing, and iterative validation
Drive the evolution of Circuit’s design system and interaction patterns
Advocate for inclusive, accessible design in all product decisions
Experience
5-8 years of experience designing digital products in cross-functional environments
A strong portfolio of shipped work that demonstrates elegant problem-solving across platforms
Proven ability to drive ambiguous projects from discovery to delivery
Experience working as an embedded designer partnered with product and engineering on a fast-moving technical roadmap.
Deep expertise with Figma (components, prototyping, versioning) and other design tools
Experience designing for both web and mobile; comfort designing for users in the field (interrupted, low-attention, mobile-first contexts)
Fluency in design systems, accessibility standards, and responsive design
Strong product thinking and systems-level design mindset
Comfortable prototyping in code with AI-assisted tools — you can take a design from Figma to a working prototype engineers can react to, and you're fluent enough in the front end to understand what's feasible.
Human Skills
Comfortable getting close to unfamiliar, technical domains — you'd rather sit with a field technician than guess.
