About this role

As a Senior Principal, Talent Marketing at Moniepoint, you’ll help attract and acquire the talent we need to grow across different markets, with a primary focus on tech roles. Collaborating closely with the Employer Brand and Talent Acquisition teams, you’ll develop and execute marketing campaigns that reach the right talent for our priority roles across online and offline channels.You will be responsible for developing audience insights and using data to understand what resonates with different talent segments, building targeted campaigns, and adapting our strategy as hiring needs and markets evolve.

Responsibilities:

Campaigns for Hiring Priorities

• Translate our technical hiring plan into clear goals and measurable targets, building focused, end-to-end campaigns for priority roles.
• Own audience targeting, channel mix, creative execution, budget management, and campaign launching.
• Maintain the discipline to optimize campaigns continuously or pull the plug when an initiative is not delivering.

Community and Event Presence

• Design and execute our presence at meetups, tech conferences, developer communities, and university networks.
• Own the full candidate experience and end-to-end post-event follow-up strategy.

Paid Recruitment Advertising

• Manage dedicated paid recruitment advertising budgets across social media, job boards, and developer platforms.
• Track metrics to prove which channels yield actual quality hires rather than just resume volume.

Recruiter Enablement

• Partner with the creative team to equip recruiters with high-impact enablement assets.
• Produce cold outreach templates, follow-up sequences, team one-pagers, and technical messaging points.

Job Posts & Technical Messaging

• Own the copywriting for all priority engineering and technical job posts.
• Write compelling candidate-facing copy that clearly communicates our technical scope, culture, and expectations to convert passive talent into applicants.

Engineering Content Distribution

• Lead the distribution strategy for our engineering blog and technical speaking engagements.
• Ensure high-value technical content reaches target developer audiences to convert views into qualified applications.

Experience & Background

• 4+ years of experience in recruitment marketing, talent acquisition campaigns, or demand generation.
• Proven track record in field marketing, including event execution and structured candidate follow-up.
• Direct experience as a hands-on media buyer managing paid budgets across social platforms and job boards with strong spend optimization discipline.
• Experience marketing technical or engineering roles are highly preferred.
• Background in fintech, payments, infrastructure, or driving brand awareness in new markets is a strong plus.

Skills & Competencies

• Exceptional, thoughtful writer skilled in job post copywriting, candidate outreach, and campaign messaging.
• Ability to adapt B2B marketing and demand generation tactics specifically for talent acquisition.
• Data-driven marketer comfortable evaluating channel effectiveness based on quality hires rather than vanity metrics.
• Strong collaborator capable of working towards shared hiring targets alongside talent acquisition, employer brand, and engineering leads.

What success looks like in this role

• First 90 days: Establish strong relationships with technical hiring managers, understand the technical roadmap, launch live campaigns for top priority hard-to-fill roles, and roll out the core recruiter asset toolkit.
• Six months: Back every priority engineering role with live, tracked campaigns, establish recruiter reliance on your assets, and clearly differentiate performance channels by quality hire output.
• Year one: Measurably reduce cost-per-application and time-to-fill across engineering hiring, build trusted advisor status with hiring managers, and document a scalable playbook.
