The Senior OPSEC Threat & Risk Assessment Specialist serves as the principal technical and operational deputy to the TRMC Operations Security Program Manager (OPSEC PM). This role is established to lead, execute, and institutionalize comprehensive OPSEC threat and risk assessment processes across TRMC corporate programs and the Department of Defense (DoD) Major Range and Test Facility Base (MRTFB) enterprise.

The incumbent directly operationalizes the DoD Five-Step OPSEC Process, spearheads the utilization of the Enterprise Protection Risk Management (EPRM) tool suite, builds and leads deployable multidisciplinary assessment teams, and establishes enduring operational partnerships with external defense, intelligence, and counterintelligence entities (including the FBI, DCSA, and Service Counterintelligence elements). Required Knowledge, Skills, and Professional Experience

·       Experience: Minimum of 7–10 years of direct experience in Operations Security (OPSEC), Counterintelligence, Information Protection, or DoD Mission Assurance. Direct experience conducting field assessments across test ranges, laboratories, or complex technical programs is preferred.

·       Clearance: Active Top Secret security clearance with current Single-Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) and immediate eligibility for access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI).

·       Certifications:

·       DoD OPSEC Program Manager / OPSEC Fundamentals Certification (e.g., CDSE, IOSS OPSE-2500/3500, or equivalent).

·       Defense Security Enterprise SPēD certification (SFPC, SPSC) is highly desirable.

·       Interpersonal and Leadership Acumen: Demonstrated track record of recruiting, mentoring, and directing cross-functional assessment teams; outstanding conflict-resolution and stakeholder-management skills across mixed military, civil service, and defense contractor teams.

Basic Compensation: 

$175,000 - $210,000 (For VA area Only)
The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.

Additional Compensation:

KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short-term incentives, long-term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
