UOB Innovation Hub 2 (InnoHub2) is a UOB-wholly owned subsidiary and a Centre of Excellence based in Malaysia, providing Group Business Services (GBS) to support the UOB Group. Started in 2021 with technology application design, development and support, InnoHub2 is expanding beyond technology services to deliver other business services to support the Bank’s growth ambition.  Job Description
 

You will be part of Malaysia Hub supporting Corporate eServices operations.

Your key responsibilities includes:

• Process form registration and maintenance requests with accuracy and within/ above established SLA in compliance with regulatory laws, internal policy and procedures.
• Ensure all SLA’s / KPI’s as agreed with the Singapore, subsidiaries and branches are duly met and active steps taken to ensure consistency in delivery.
• Ensure all controls – Start of day, intraday and End of day are meticulously followed, and evidence kept of the same.
• Maintain a high standard of operations control and compliance to always protect the Group’s and Clients’ interests.
• Assist with queries/escalation from other functions ( Middle Office, Relationship Managers, subsidiary, Branches ) to deliver quality service that exceeds customers’ expectations.
• Ensure escalations are raised to the Team Head in Malaysia Hub and to the Singapore team on a timely basis, as required.
• Ensure all operational processes are always ‘audit worthy’ and will pass scrutiny of the various 1st, 2nd and 3rd lines of defence teams.
• Ensure that the key operational risk indicators of the team are always within acceptable levels.
• Ensure error rate is within pre-agreed acceptable thresholds. Actively follow the requirement to ensure continuous operational excellence – “Zero defects in processing” and “do it the right the first time. Every time” 
• Continuously review operational processes to identify opportunities to “Eliminate / Simplify / Automate” (ESA). Discuss with Team Lead, Malaysia Hub & and Singapore team and implement accordingly.
• BCP / DRP – participate in BCP / DRP exercise to ensure full alignment with the Group’s BCP / DRP requirements to ensure continuity of services.
• Participate in projects and discussions with the Singapore team, as required.
• Provide support in ad-hoc project and tasks as directed by Team Head and Department Head.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with/ without banking experience. Fresh Graduate are also welcome to apply.
• Meticulous and diligent with an eye-for details
• Self-Starter and Fast learner
• Ability to multi- task, manage competing priorities and work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as a team player.
• Good communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient computer skills – suite of MS applications. Those with working experience with Excel VBA, Macros will have an added advantage.
