THE JOB: 

The Senior Services Office Clerk is primarily responsible for delivering mail to on-property departments and preparing mail for external shipment. This role also involves assisting less experienced Office Services Clerks by providing guidance and clarifying standard procedures. All tasks are carried out in accordance with department guest service standards and MGM Resorts International’s policies, practices, and procedures. You will play a vital role in our mission to own the guest’s experience and create WOW memories that they will carry with them far beyond their stay with us.

THE STARTING PAY RATE:  $21.00 Per Hour

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Provide guidance and leadership to less experienced clerks
• Operate the administrative services vehicle to deliver mail and packages to various properties
• Handle the processing of incoming and outgoing packages for delivery, and operate mailroom equipment as needed
• Create departmental signs using the sign machine, answer phone calls, and direct inquiries to the appropriate areas or staff
• Support the Office Services Supervisor with daily tasks and responsibilities
• Develop and implement procedures for handling registered, certified, and insured mail
• Monitor and record postage usage by departments, and calculate billing charges when necessary
• Assist Office Services Clerks with problem resolution and manage the escalation of urgent tasks

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• 18 years of age or older
• High school diploma, GED or equivalent
• Two (2) years of previous clerical experience preferred
• The ability to life and carry up to 70 pounds
