We are seeking a skilled and experienced techno-functional Senior NetSuite Applications Administrator to join our Finance Systems team. This role focuses on sustaining and evolving Five9’s NetSuite deployment, with deep functional and technical expertise across NetSuite Financials, and broader support for Five9’s finance application ecosystem.

NetSuite serves as the system of record for Five9’s core financial processes and integrates with adjacent finance applications supporting expense management, procurement, and accounts receivable automation. The Senior NetSuite Applications Administrator will work closely with Finance, Accounting, and IT stakeholders to ensure platform stability, support period-end close activities, resolve operational issues, and drive ongoing improvements to NetSuite and related financial systems.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, a strong techno-functional NetSuite background, working knowledge of financial accounting and reporting concepts, and the ability to work cross functionally with Finance and Accounting teams.

Must be able to work hours that partially overlap with US Pacific time, where the Finance team is primarily based.

 Key Responsibilities

• Administer, sustain, and evolve Five9’s NetSuite deployment, including user setup, roles, permissions, and security controls.
• Support and maintain NetSuite Financials, including General Ledger, Advanced Revenue Management (ARM), Multi-Book Accounting, SuiteTax, Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable, and Fixed Assets.
• Apply financial accounting and reporting concepts to configure NetSuite in a manner consistent with GAAP and internal reporting requirements.
• Configure and maintain NetSuite customizations, including custom records, fields, forms, workflows (SuiteFlow), saved searches, and reports.
• Work across NetSuite’s customization and extension layers, including SuiteBuilder, SuiteFlow, SuiteScript, SuiteTalk, and SuiteApps, partnering with developers on more advanced scripted solutions.
• Support and administer adjacent finance applications, including Ramp (expense management), Coupa (procurement), and HighRadius (accounts receivable automation).
• Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues across NetSuite and connected finance applications, including data integrity and integration issues.
• Partner with Accounting and Finance teams to support period-end and year-end close processes, audits, and financial reporting needs.
• Support NetSuite releases, sandbox testing, and configuration deployments, minimizing disruption to financial operations.
• Document NetSuite configurations, processes, and best practices to support long term platform governance.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, and third party consultants on NetSuite enhancements and integrations with adjacent systems.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with NetSuite and other financial applications.
• NetSuite certification is required (e.g., NetSuite Administrator or NetSuite ERP Consultant).
• Strong working knowledge of NetSuite Financials, including General Ledger, ARM, Multi-Book Accounting, SuiteTax, AP/AR, and Fixed Assets.
• Solid understanding of financial accounting and reporting concepts.
• Experience supporting other finance applications such as Ramp, Coupa, HighRadius, or similar expense management, procurement, or AR automation tools.
• Familiarity with NetSuite’s customization and extension layers, including SuiteBuilder, SuiteFlow, SuiteScript, SuiteTalk, and SuiteApps.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross functional stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment.
• Techno-functional mindset, comfortable working directly with Finance and Accounting stakeholders as well as technical teams.
