What the role is all about
As Senior Marketing Analyst, you will be the analytical partner for consumer and lifecycle marketing teams—combining hands-on SQL, audience analysis, reporting and data investigation with clear, commercially relevant storytelling.
This is a genuinely broad secondment with meaningful ownership. You will help teams understand member behaviour, improve campaign performance, grow and retain audiences, and make better investment decisions.
You will also gain end-to-end exposure to marketing mix modelling, including work with Mutinex and Meridian, opportunities to work with SaaS MMM solutions and practical exposure to Meridian code, as well as contributing to forecasting for enterprise OKRs.
he three core focus areas are:
- Lifecycle marketing analytics and reporting
- Marketing mix modelling
- Regular contribution to enterprise forecasting and target-setting throughout the financial year
Partner with marketing to drive growth
- Work with lifecycle, digital, consumer and product stakeholders to turn business questions into clear analytical approaches and actionable recommendations.
- Analyse audience and member behaviour across acquisition, engagement, conversion and retention to identify opportunities for campaign creation and optimisation.
- Be a trusted thought partner on the use of data and measurement across the marketing function, translating complex analysis into plain English for a range of audiences.
- Manage requests from discovery and requirements gathering through prioritisation, delivery, follow-up and continuous improvement.
Own reporting, dashboards and insight storytelling
- Own the lifecycle marketing reporting capability, ensuring KPI, OKR, member-engagement and campaign reporting remains accurate, useful and fit for purpose.
- Create, maintain and improve Tableau dashboards and other reporting outputs used by consumer lifecycle marketing.
- Provide weekly, monthly and quarterly performance reporting, including audience-performance packs, KPI updates, presentations and Board materials where required.
- Lead the story behind the numbers: identify emerging trends, explain the drivers of performance and communicate what the business should do next.
Make data trustworthy and usable
- Perform attribution and campaign analysis, including last-touch and other relevant attribution approaches, in partnership with stakeholders and data teams.
- Investigate and resolve data-quality issues through reconciliation, definition checks, pipeline validation, backfills and analysis of schema, timestamp, freshness and other discrepancies.
- Identify gaps in marketing data capture and work collaboratively with data teams to implement practical enhancements.
- Maintain reusable query logic, data assets, documentation and processes so that knowledge and outputs remain valuable beyond the immediate analysis.
Measure what works
- Support campaign experimentation and measurement, including send volumes, click-through rate, conversion, opt-in and opt-out behaviour, and attribution.
- Use data from web, app, advertising and other marketing platforms to build a rounded view of channel and audience performance.
- Contribute to marketing mix modelling with Mutinex and Meridian, including analysis, interpretation, stakeholder engagement and practical hands-on work with Meridian code where appropriate.
- Contribute to forecasting for enterprise OKRs, including target-setting and in-year performance updates.
Help keep the operation running smoothly
- Champion effective internal processes and systems, identifying opportunities to simplify, automate and improve the way analytics work gets done.
- Support the team’s production data operations by helping maintain Breeze jobs, responding to alerts, validating fixes and working safely with Airflow, PagerDuty, Buildkite, Git and pull requests.
- Work with data teams to ensure data is captured in a relevant, reliable and usable format for downstream analytics and decision-making.

- At least two years’ experience in a hands-on senior analytics-support role, including troubleshooting complex issues and making recommendations.
- Advanced Excel skills and strong attention to detail.
- Strong stakeholder-management and business-partnering skills, including requirements gathering, prioritisation and follow-through.
- The ability to translate data into clear, plain-English insights for audiences at different levels.

- Experience with digital analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics, and hands-on experience with advertising platforms.
- A strong understanding of digital marketing across SEM/PPC, social and SEO, plus broader above-the-line and below-the-line channels.
- Experience working with, or knowledge of, marketing mix models and forecasting methods such as SARIMA or Prophet.
