Overview

Scandit is looking for a Senior Manager, Talent Development to strengthen how we operate and grow globally. This is a senior individual contributor role which blends strategy + hands-on delivery: you will set the Talent Development roadmap, lead cross-functional programs end-to-end, and ensure we measure impact, not activity.

The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring we attract, develop, and retain top talent while creating robust learning and development programs to support our employees and managers. You will design and implement programs that drive performance, foster continuous learning, and align with our long-term business objectives.

You will work closely with People Partners and senior leadership to oversee talent reviews, succession planning, and performance management while enhancing Learning & Development efforts to up skill our teams and support career growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Talent Strategy & Management: Define and drive the company-wide approach to learning, leadership development, and career growth - aligned to business priorities and culture. Co-lead regular talent reviews to assess, identify, and retain top talent, with clear action plans for high-potential employees.
• Development & Learning Programs: Build and scale learning programs - including manager and leadership development - to close critical skill gaps and support career progression.
• Performance Management: Oversee the performance management process, ensuring alignment with business goals. Provide guidance to managers on goal-setting, feedback, and performance evaluations to drive accountability and continuous improvement.
• Data-Driven Insights: Use data and analytics to evaluate the effectiveness of talent programs, assess skill gaps, and identify opportunities for improvement in development initiatives.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with senior leaders, people partners, and department leaders to align talent development strategies with organizational goals. Ensure a cohesive approach to employee development across the company.
• L&D Operations: Own the L&D vendor and budget management for programs in scope, including tooling/LMS decisions where applicable.

Who we look for

• 8+ years in Talent Development, Learning Program Management, People Partnering, or similar, ideally supporting a global tech organization of 500+ employees.
• Proven track record designing and delivering org-wide programs (learning programs, manager development, leadership effectiveness, performance systems & cycles, transformation).
• Experience in HR business partnering, working closely with leaders and client groups to drive performance, talent development and to implement organizational changes.
• Experience in a high-growth, fast-changing environment (tech/SaaS).
• Strong executive presence: able to challenge and support senior leaders with credibility, pragmatism, and backbone.
• Excellent facilitation skills: can drive alignment in complex, sometimes messy stakeholder environments.
• Comfortable operating globally, ideally with experience across Europe, APAC, and the US.
• Ability to informally guide junior team members on shared projects (this role has no direct reports).
• Strong problem diagnosis skills: you can find root causes, not just symptoms.
• Data-fluent: can use people and business data to make decisions and tell a clear story.
• Highly organized program leader who can manage multiple work streams in parallel.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to anticipate competing deadlines, navigate through ambiguous requirements and find solutions.
• Ability to craft clear narratives that drive action (not just “nice decks”).
• Exceptional written and verbal communication in fluent English (additional languages a plus).
• AI fluency: hands-on experience using AI tools to scale L&D delivery and/or analyze workforce and skills data.
