About the Role

What You'll Do

• Develop and manage all aspects of PR, including fashion and brand media outreach (national and regional), media and customer events as it relates to product and fashion press and brand sponsorships
• Lead key media relations efforts surrounding key initiatives, including news-driving programs and brand-led features with the support of external agencies
• Influence and contribute to the development of PR strategies seasonally and around key initiatives
• Author press releases, talking points, Q&As, and other written materials to manage communication and increase awareness of the brand
• Establish and maintain key relationships with editors, influencers, and key social channels to have continual messaging on the brand and product newness
• Manage external agencies across media relations and celebrity relations functions
• Work cross-functionally across the integrated brand marketing, partnerships, social, merchandising and design teams to execute brand awareness campaigns
• Oversee quarterly budget management in partnership with team leader
• Support in the management junior PR staff

• Personality and composure to work with senior executives and major media outlets
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously within budgets and on schedule
• Ability to determine solutions independently, think creatively, and implement rapidly
• Understanding of how brand engagement fits into the larger picture of marketing; Voracious consumer of culture, technology, and fashion and able to create stories/digital experiences at the intersection of all three
• Agency experience preferred
• Ability to assess relatively complex situations and analyze data to make judgments and recommend solutions
