Senior Manager - Health and Wellbeing (Parental Leave Cover)

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager - Health and Wellbeing to join our People & Capability team on a 12-month parental leave contract. This national role is responsible for overseeing injury management, workers compensation and wellbeing programs, ensuring strong return-to-work outcomes, leading wellbeing initiatives and providing expert advice across the business. Working closely with leaders, insurers and external partners, you will help drive a healthier, safer and more productive workplace for team members across Australia.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the national Injury Management and Return to Work strategy, improving recovery and return-to-work outcomes.

• Provide expert oversight of complex and high-risk workers compensation claims and injury management matters.

• Partner with operational leaders, People & Capability and Safety teams to embed best-practice wellbeing and return-to-work programs.

• Manage relationships with insurers, brokers, rehabilitation providers and regulators to optimise performance and service delivery.

• Analyse premium, claims and injury data to identify trends, drive improvements and support business decision-making.

About You

• Tertiary qualifications in Business or a related discipline, with substantial experience in workers compensation and injury management.

• Extensive knowledge of workers compensation legislation across Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland.

• Demonstrated experience working with insurers, brokers and claims management processes.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and influence outcomes.

• Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong partnerships.
