You’ll be someone who is both comfortable working pro-actively and managing your own tasks, as well as confident collaborating with others and communicating regularly with senior managers, directors, and BDO’s partners to help businesses effectively. You’ll be encouraged to identify and draw attention to opportunities for enhancing our delivery and providing additional services to organisations we work with.  

We are seeking a Senior Manager to join our Business Restructuring team. It’s an exciting opportunity to work within a dynamic team that delivers a wide variety of corporate insolvency and advisory assignments. You’ll deliver high-quality work, proactively managing a portfolio of projects of varying size and complexity, taking ownership of engagements . You’ll also provide leadership, coaching, and development support to team members. You’ll also contribute to business development initiatives that support the continued growth of the practice.

You’ll be someone with:

• A recognised qualification - ACA (ICAEW) or ACCA.

• Significant experience within a corporate insolvency and restructuring environment and the delivery of high quality assignment

• Strong understanding of Administrations, CVLs, and CVAs.

• Up-to-date knowledge of insolvency regulations and statutory requirements.

• Experience using IPS

• Significant experience in financial modelling and forecasting in the context of insolvency

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are highly desirable.

• CPI, JIEB, or other insolvency qualification would be desirable
