The Senior Manager, Assessment Customer Programs oversees all aspects of assigned assessment programs and is accountable for the success of related program operations. The incumbent will ensure assessment programs perform according to contract requirements, annual budgets, quality standards, and established timelines. The incumbent will manage client relationships related to program delivery and coordinate with internal teams to support effective execution. This position is located in Santa Fe Springs, CA.

Essential Functions

Lead Successful Program Delivery

• Oversee successful execution of assigned assessment programs
• Provide oversight and leadership to direct reports
• Monitor assessment program progress against contract requirements, quality expectations, timelines, and RI financial goals
• Approve invoices before submission of expenses as necessary
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams as needed to support assessment program success
• Provide program performance reporting to executive staff and client
• Coordinate with engineering, analytics, business development, and finance teams to support assessment program operations, reporting, and client deliverables
• Meet assessment program budget, productivity, quality, and profitability targets

Oversee Customer Relationships

• Serve as client’s senior point of contact
• Attend client meetings
• Support assessment program staff with unique or difficult customer relationships or requests
• Monitor contracted vendor performance as needed

Manage Direct Reports

• Develop and manage assessment program staffing plans
• Motivate and manage employees through effective performance management and feedback systems
• Provide regular staff development opportunities to enhance assessment program delivery
• Maximize employee engagement and retention

Leadership

• Act as liaison between RI offices
• Represent the local office or program at various meetings, conferences and presentations
• Serve as an engaged member of the Senior Advisory Council

Requirements

Location

• Must be located in the greater Santa Fe Springs, CA area.

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field such as Business Administration/Management, or Technical field of Energy Efficiency, Engineering, Construction Management, etc. Emphasis to be determined by program needs or commensurate experience

Experience

• 5+ years managing assessment programs or multiple projects of increasing responsibility
• 3+ years in management and supervision of diverse project teams and personnel

Licenses/Certifications

• Valid California driver’s license and personal automobile insurance

Physical Job Description

• Hybrid Work Expectations: Approximately 2 days per week in the office, with flexibility to be onsite more frequently as business needs arise, including client visits, meetings, program activities, or other in-person needs.
• Work is performed in an office environment with moderate noise level
• Hours are typically Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. with some evening and weekend hours as needed
• Periodic travel with some overnight stays
• Equipment Used/Required:(List all manual and automated equipment used in the course of performing essential functions)
• Standard office equipment including computer, phone, scanner/copier and fax machine
• Reliable personal transportation

• While performing the duties of this job, employee is regularly required to talk and hear
• Primarily a sedentary role; however, some travel is required
• Physical ability to occasionally lift files and materials (up to 20 pounds), open filing cabinets and bend, stand, and reach above head as necessary
• Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus, and visual acuity sufficient to read a computer screen and paper documents
• Position requires computer and keyboard use approximately 90% of the time

Compensation & Benefits

Resource Innovations offers competitive salaries based on a candidate's skills, experience and qualifications for the position.  The compensation range for the base salary for this position is $90,000-$110,000. In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus.  The stated salary represents the expected compensation for this position. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as the candidate's experience, education and location.
