The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking outstanding IT candidates in support of the Enterprise Information Technology as a Service (EITaaS) contract with the Department of the Air Force. CACI is leading the way in transforming IT services from an in-house, base-centric delivery model to an advanced enterprise service delivery model.


CACI has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Knowledge Analyst.  This position is in support of a Department of Defense (DoD) organization. 

The Senior Knowledge Analyst provides advanced expertise in knowledge management and user‑centered content development to enhance the organization’s knowledge ecosystem. In partnership with the Knowledge Manager, this role supports the planning, coordination, and continuous improvement of knowledge projects while ensuring content is accurate, intuitive, and optimized for user experience across all delivery channels.


The successful candidate must be able to communicate clearly and succinctly both written and orally, and present products and ideas in a business-like manner.  The candidate will be required to work in dynamic fast-paced environments that require team interaction and coordination of effort.  The candidate must be experienced in interfacing with both client managers and system users.

Responsibilities:


Support the Knowledge Manager in shaping and executing knowledge content strategies and project plans that strengthen enterprise documentation and user experience.
Contribute to the full lifecycle of knowledge content — including intake, development, review, publication, and iterative enhancement — ensuring quality and alignment with established KM standards.
Conduct user experience assessments of knowledge articles to improve clarity, usability, and discoverability using KM and UX best practices such as KCS, structured metadata, and content design principles.
Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts and operational teams to gather requirements, validate accuracy, and transform complex technical information into clear, user-friendly content.
Maintain and refine documentation templates, style guides, governance processes, and content standards that ensure consistency and long-term sustainability.


Qualifications:

Required: 

Capable of obtaining and maintaining a DoD Secret Clearance
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and experience with ITSM or KM platforms such as ServiceNow, Confluence, or similar tools.
Familiarity with knowledge methodologies such as KCS and foundational UX principles.
Strong analytical thinking and commitment to high quality content and continuous improvement.
Experience using AP writing format and AP Stylebook
10+ Years of relevant experience (Bachelor’s Degree in applicable field may be substituted for 5 years of experience).


Desired:

An active DoD Secret or higher clearance
Proficiency in using Adobe Acrobat Pro

TechSmith Camtasia
Experience working in the Department of Defense

Pay Range:

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$55,400 - $116,400
