Job Overview

Act as a Senior IT Engineer for the Saudi Arabia branch — the technical backbone of local IT delivery — owning local IT infrastructure, operations, security and compliance, and asset management end-to-end as an individual contributor, while serving as a key IT liaison between China HQ and the subsidiary. You will execute local IT strategy, ensure regulatory and information-security compliance, and drive global corporate IT standards adoption locally. Minimum 5 years of progressive IT infrastructure and operations experience; proven track record supporting IT compliance and security programs (e.g. audits, regulator liaison, ISO 27001 / SOC 2 / PCI DSS alignment) is required.

Key Responsibilities

1. Implement corporate IT standards, policies and security requirements, align local infrastructure with global IT architecture, drive initiatives and ensure remediation closure; provide regular updates to HQ and local management, including incident escalation details and resolution status;
2. Independently deliver IT infrastructure projects for offices and client-facing sites, including site survey, cabling planning, hardware deployment and system commissioning to complete full-cycle site rollout;
3. Establish standardised PC endpoint framework, manage bulk deployment, ongoing support and troubleshooting of business applications;
4. Maintain AV conferencing systems, access control, CCTV, IP telephony and multi-function printers;
5. Administer DNS and DHCP network services, and independently resolve a wide range of network incidents;
6. Manage full lifecycle of IT assets and software licenses: requirement gathering, annual budget planning, procurement, inventory record, maintenance, periodic audit and asset retirement;
7. Administer core enterprise systems including AD, PBX, email platform, enterprise virtualisation platforms (e.g., Citrix) and NAS storage systems (e.g., Synology);
8. Provide on-site support alongside the HQ network team; liaise with local network operators and exchanges, and handle office server rooms, network equipment and data centre issues;
9. Develop technical documentation and operational SOPs to continuously standardise local IT workflows;
10. Support the local IT compliance and security program: interpret regulatory requirements, implement information security controls, run risk assessments and security awareness training, and act as the local point of contact for regulators, external auditors and internal compliance on IT-related matters.

Requirements

1. Able to prioritise workload autonomously, proactively identify IT risks and operational issues and drive resolutions with full ownership of outcomes;
2. Solid project coordination skills to break down tasks, track progress and anticipate risks; escalate resource constraints or technical difficulties to HQ in a timely manner to ensure issue closure;
3. Strong knowledge of PC hardware, Windows OS and macOS, application deployment & troubleshooting; proven experience in endpoint standardisation;
4. Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS; capable of resolving common network issues independently;
5. Able to develop IT implementation plans with strong hands-on skills to execute hardware installation and system deployment following corporate standards;
6. Practical experience in Windows Server, AD, email systems, PBX, virtualisation and NAS administration; MCSE, Microsoft 365 Certified, Azure Administrator or equivalent certifications are preferred;
7. Business-fluent English for stakeholder communication and technical documentation writing; comfortable working across time zones and multicultural teams;
8. Added advantages: knowledge of DRP/BCP operations; experience liaising with local regulators; direct experience in a securities firm or investment bank; familiarity with IT compliance programs (ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI DSS or equivalent) and local data protection regulations (e.g. GDPR, PDPA) in a regulated financial services environment.
