Your Opportunity at ARC’TERYX:

As the Senior Global Footwear Demand Planner at Arc’teryx, you will own the rolling demand forecast for one of the business’s major product categories, building statistically driven baselines, translating assortment plans into demand projections, and contributing to the monthly Integrated Business Planning (IBP) cycle with a consensus plan that the business can act on. You will work across a broad cross-functional network, including Merchandise Financial Planning, Sourcing, Supply Planning, Inventory Planning, Allocations, Merchandising, FP&A, and Commercial, and you will be the planning voice that connects near-term execution to a 1–5-year demand view. This is a role for a planner who brings rigor to their forecasts and knows how to balance statistical discipline with business judgment.

This role is based out of our Portland office. Candidates must be eligible to work in the USA.

  • Participating in the IBP cycle to build a consensus demand plan, reconciling top-down financial targets with bottom-up SKU-level forecasts
  • Providing volume outlooks to Sourcing, Supply Planning to support capacity and buy decisions, and building demand curves for new product launches
  • Conducting scenario and risk planning, identifying demand risks and supply constraints, and bringing recommendations to cross-functional partners
  • Work closely with Senior Footwear leaders in identifying demand drivers, and future growth opportunities across Regions and the Global business to drive assortment & product creation decisions
  • Be a powerful voice with regions and Senior Leaders on the Global Footwear strategy, identifying areas of investment opportunities, categorising risks, and bringing creative solutions to the table in a fast growing entrepreneurial business environment
  • Here are some of the things you could be working on in the future:

  • Contributing to IBP process maturity and forecasting methodology improvements that strengthen planning across the organization
  • Shaping how new product forecasting and demand curve development evolve as the product portfolio grows

  • You have experience leading planning for a major category, including contributing to IBP cycles, reconciling top-down and bottom-up plans, and identifying demand risks and supply constraints
  • You are a strong cross-functional collaborator, able to partner effectively with Merchandise Financial Planning, Sourcing, Supply Planning, Inventory Planning, Allocations, Merchandising, FP&A, and Commercial
  • You have experience mentoring and developing others, sharing specialized knowledge to support team growth and build capability within your area
