We are looking for a Senior developer based in Toronto to join our team and help deliver scalable, modern solutions that support colleagues and stakeholders across multiple regions. Team & Role Summary

The TDS CRM Technology team is responsible for delivering and supporting the strategic CRM platforms and client intelligence capabilities used across Research and Capital Markets.

We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to drive the evolution of our strategic CRM platform and related applications. This role will focus on building and enhancing business-critical CRM capabilities, integrating enterprise data sources, modernizing application architecture, and delivering AI-enabled features that improve productivity and user experience.

The successful candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in Python, Java, React, and SQL, along with experience building scalable enterprise applications, data integrations, and modern AI-powered solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support enterprise CRM applications using Python, Java, React, and SQL to deliver scalable and reliable business capabilities.

• Build modern full-stack solutions and APIs that integrate CRM platforms with internal systems, data platforms, and third-party applications.

• Lead the modernization of CRM architecture, reducing technical debt while improving scalability, maintainability, and system performance.

• Develop and integrate AI-enabled capabilities including intelligent search, conversational interfaces, workflow automation, and knowledge retrieval solutions.

• Design and optimize SQL databases and data models to support CRM operations, analytics, reporting, and client intelligence use cases.

• Integrate and onboard strategic CRM datasets into centralized enterprise data platforms, enabling trusted and governed access to business data.

• Develop data services and pipelines leveraging Databricks, Spark, and cloud technologies to support operational and analytical workloads.

• Partner with business stakeholders, product owners, and technology teams to gather requirements, prioritize initiatives, and deliver business value through technology solutions.

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship through architecture reviews, code reviews, engineering standards, and guidance for development teams and vendor resources.

• Support application stability, risk reduction, and production operations, including troubleshooting, performance tuning, incident resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications / Experience

• 7+ years of software development experience building and supporting enterprise applications.

• Strong hands-on expertise in Python, Java, React, and SQL with a proven track record of delivering production-grade solutions.

• Experience designing and developing scalable full-stack applications, APIs, and microservices.

• Strong experience with modern backend frameworks such as Spring Boot and RESTful service development.

• Experience developing responsive web applications using React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

• Advanced database development skills, including SQL optimization, data modeling, and performance tuning.

• Experience integrating applications with internal and external systems through APIs and event-driven architectures.

• Knowledge of Azure cloud services and modern cloud-native application architectures.

• Knowledge of software engineering best practices, including CI/CD, automated testing, code reviews, source control, and DevOps processes.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

• Experience working directly with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively across business and technology teams.

Preferred Qualifications / Experience

• Experience with CRM platforms such as Prism, Salesforce, or similar enterprise CRM solutions.

• Experience delivering AI-powered applications leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs), Generative AI, and intelligent workflow automation.

• Experience working with enterprise data platforms such as Databricks, Spark/PySpark, Snowflake, or equivalent.

• Experience in Capital Markets, Investment Banking, Research, or other Financial Services domains.

• Experience building client intelligence, relationship management, revenue management, or workflow management solutions.

• Experience leading technical design discussions, mentoring developers, and providing technical leadership across delivery teams.

• Passion for innovation and applying emerging technologies to solve complex business problems.
