About the Team

The Financial Performance & Forecasting (FP&F) function is Finance's forward-looking business partner, responsible for planning, forecasting, performance analysis, executive reporting and decision support. The Europe and Asia Pacific (APAC) FP&F team works closely with Asset Management, Investments, Development, Real Estate Finance, Real Estate Accounting, and Regional Leadership to connect financial and operating performance with the underlying business drivers across Oxford's Europe and APAC portfolios.

Position Summary

The Senior Financial Analyst will support financial planning, forecasting, portfolio performance analysis and executive reporting across Europe and APAC. The role combines strong financial analysis with business partnering and executive storytelling.

The successful candidate will contribute to annual operating plans, quarterly forecasts, portfolio performance reviews, regional transaction management and regional reporting. The role will also perform scenario modelling,  automation, Power BI & AI-enabled analysis.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Forecasting

·   Support the annual Operating Plan, quarterly forecast and long-range planning processes across Europe and APAC.

·   Coordinate planning inputs with Asset Management (both internal and 3rd party), Investments, Development, Real Estate Finance and other regional stakeholders, helping ensure key assumptions are complete, consistent and supported.

·   Input and consolidate forecast submissions and analyze performance against actual results, prior forecast and Operating Plan.

·   Assess and clearly present the regional outlook, including key risks, opportunities and sensitivities.

·   Analyze key portfolio assumptions, including operating performance, leasing, transactions, deployment, financing, capital expenditure and valuation-related impacts.

·   Build scenario and sensitivity analyses to evaluate changes in business and market conditions.

Performance Reporting & Business Insights

·   Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual reporting materials for regional leadership, Oxford's Executive Committee, and local Board of Directors.

·   Translate actual and forecast performance into concise, executive-ready insights, presentations, dashboards and written narratives.

·   Analyze investment returns and key performance indicators, including NOI, interest, other gains and losses, capital expenditures, leasing costs, deployment, financing activity and valuation movements.

·   Explain performance across geographies, sectors, investment strategies and assets, distinguishing underlying operating performance from portfolio, transaction and market impacts.

·   Perform return calculations and attribution analysis for pending and completed transactions and support variance analysis against Operating Plan and latest forecast.

·   Support regional P&L and portfolio reviews, highlighting implications, decisions and follow-up actions.

·   Perform quality reviews of reports, presentations and analysis to support accurate, consistent and timely reporting.

Business Partnering & Decision Support

·   Partner with Asset Management, Investments, Development, Real Estate Finance, Real Estate Accounting, and Regional leadership to develop planning assumptions and performance insights.

·   Support decision-making through scenario analysis, sensitivity modelling, return attribution and business case analysis.

·   Evaluate inputs and challenge assumptions constructively, escalating material inconsistencies, risks and opportunities where appropriate.

·   Translate complex financial and operational information into clear insights and practical recommendations for senior stakeholders.

·   Build effective working relationships across functions, regions and levels of seniority while managing competing priorities in a complex environment.

Transactions & Capital Events

·   Support and coordinate with Real Estate Accounting and other stakeholders on acquisitions and dispositions.

·   Assist with financial due diligence, transaction impact analysis, agreement review support and the assessment of accounting or reporting implications.

·   Coordinate cross-functional financial support during transaction execution and the onboarding or offboarding of investments.

·   Maintain regional transaction activity data and provide related forecast, return and variance analysis.

Reporting Transformation & Continuous Improvement

·   Contribute to the evolution of regional Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) capabilities, including driver-based planning, standardized KPIs, scenario modelling and enhanced executive reporting.

·   Support improvements in reporting quality, consistency, timeliness, automation and scalability.

·   Identify opportunities to simplify recurring work, strengthen controls and redirect team capacity toward higher-value analysis.

·   Explore responsible uses of automation and AI-enabled analysis while maintaining appropriate review, data quality and control standards.

·   Complete ad-hoc financial and performance analysis as required.

Required Skills & Experience

Financial Analysis & Technical Expertise

·   Three or more years of progressive experience in FP&A, financial analysis, transaction analysis, valuation, audit, or a related field;

·   Strong financial modelling skills and advanced Excel capability.

·   Ability to identify key business drivers, evaluate assumptions and produce forward-looking analysis.

·   Strong PowerPoint capability and the ability to develop clear, executive-ready presentations.

·   Exposure to planning, reporting or consolidation systems; Power BI, data visualization, data transformation, automation or AI-enabled analysis is an asset.

·   Experience in real estate, infrastructure, private markets, alternative investments, multi-currency reporting or a complex organizational environment is an asset.

Communication & Stakeholder Management

·   Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to synthesize complex information into concise, decision-ready insights.

·   Ability to collaborate effectively across functions, regions and levels of seniority.

·   Organized, dependable and able to manage competing priorities and deadlines in a dynamic environment.

·   Confidence to ask thoughtful questions and challenge inputs constructively, supported by sound analysis.

Preferred Qualifications

·   Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business or a related discipline.

·   CPA, ACA or equivalent designation, or progress toward completion, is preferred.

Key Competencies

·   Intellectual curiosity, commercial awareness and sound analytical judgment.

·   Strong attention to detail, with an ability to retain perspective on the broader business implications.

·   Clear financial storytelling and executive communication.

·   Collaborative business partnering and stakeholder management.

·   Self-starter with a continuous improvement mindset and an interest in automation, analytics and modern finance tools.
