About the role

Wheely is growing rapidly, and events are an increasingly important part of how we build the brand, deepen customer relationships and introduce Wheely to new audiences.

We partner with some of the most prestigious events across the London calendar, including Royal Ascot, Frieze, the Giorgio Armani Tennis Classic, Goodwood Revival, Henley Royal Regatta, and more. As Senior Events Manager, you will play a key role in bringing these partnerships to life and ensuring Wheely shows up at every event in a way that is distinctive, premium, and exceptional.

Reporting to the Partnerships Director and working closely with the Head of Creative & Brand, you will own the end-to-end delivery of our London events programme - taking partnership opportunities and creative concepts from brief through to flawless execution.

You will manage agencies, suppliers, venues, partners, and internal teams, while owning timelines, budgets, production, and on-the-ground execution. You will also be responsible for identifying opportunities within each event to attract new customers, deepen existing customer relationships and enhance the overall Wheely experience.

This is a highly hands-on role for someone with excellent organisational skills, strong commercial judgement, and an obsessive attention to detail. You will be responsible for ensuring every event feels seamless, sophisticated, and unmistakably Wheely.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end delivery of Wheely's London events, from brief through to post-event evaluation
• Turn partnership and creative briefs into detailed event plans, and flawless execution
• Manage event agencies, production companies, venues, suppliers, and other external partners
• Own event budgets, negotiate costs, and ensure delivery within agreed budgets
• Coordinate internal teams across Brand, Marketing, Operations, Sales, and Partnerships
• Work closely with the Partnerships Director to deliver partner requirements and commercial objectives
• Work closely with the Head of Creative & Brand to bring the creative vision to life to an exceptional standard, ensuring brand standards are upheld
• Manage all event logistics, production, guest experience, staffing and on-site operations
• Lead events on the ground, taking ownership of delivery and resolving issues as they arise
• Identify and create touchpoints within events that introduce new audiences to Wheely and encourage customer acquisition
• Look for opportunities throughout the event journey to deepen relationships with existing customers and enhance their experience with Wheely
• Continuously raise the quality of Wheely's events and improve how we plan and deliver them

Requirements

• 5+ years' experience in events, experiential, luxury hospitality, brand activations or a similar environment
• Proven experience independently delivering premium events from brief through to execution
• Strong experience managing agencies, suppliers, venues and event budgets
• Exceptional project management and organisational skills
• Impeccable attention to detail and a strong eye for quality
• Excellent stakeholder and relationship management skills
• Strong commercial awareness and confidence negotiating with suppliers
• Proactive and solutions-oriented, particularly under pressure
• Comfortable taking ownership and working independently
• Experience working with luxury or premium brands strongly preferred
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends when required
