Your Opportunity at ARC’TERYX

As the Senior Director, Process Operations - PMO, you are responsible for establishing and evolving project governance, portfolio management, and delivery excellence across Arc'teryx's end-to-end Idea-to-Consumer (I2C) ecosystem. You lead a function that serves as the central authority for project standards within the I2C/GTM domain, defining intake processes, governance frameworks, delivery methodologies, reporting structures, and performance measurement practices that drive transparency, accountability, and predictable execution that enables seasonal product delivery.

You will partner primarily with Product Creation, Merchandising, Regional Go-To-Market, Supply Chain, Product Data, Technology, Finance, and Brand to modernize project governance, strengthen portfolio visibility, and embed KPI-led performance measures across the I2C operating model. Through this work, you enable teams to align priorities, manage dependencies, and consistently deliver against seasonal business commitments that enable our future growth.

This role is based on our North Vancouver office and is expected to be performed onsite. Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada.

Meet Your Future Team

The Process Operations team sits at the heart of Arc’teryx’s I2C value chain, leading cross-functional alignment and advancing a culture of radical collaboration. We optimize the intersection of Product Creation, Supply Chain, Product Data, and Regional Go‑To‑Market, acting as an internal consultancy that identifies, designs, and implements process improvements and operating model changes.

We establish the company’s I2C/GTM rhythm of business by standardizing calendars and tools, clarifying deliverables and decision rights, and embedding KPI‑led performance measures. Through standardized processes, product data governance, reporting, and performance insights we enable better planning, clearer decision-making, and predictable seasonal execution.

If you were the Senior Director, Process Operations - PMO now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:

I2C/GTM Governance & Portfolio Management

  • Design, implement, and scale Arc'teryx's I2C/GTM PMO capability, including governance frameworks, intake and prioritization models, decisions rights, project delivery standards and that drive consistent, predictable outcomes across seasonal business commitments.
  • Lead the intake, evaluation, and prioritization of I2C/GTM initiatives, ensuring investments align with business priorities, organizational capacity, and seasonal delivery objectives.
  • Run the governance and decision-making forums across the I2C/GRM portfolio
  • Develop portfolio reporting, KPI frameworks, and performance measures that provide leadership with visibility into initiative health, portfolio performance, resource capacity, and seasonal readiness.
  • Provide leadership with the portfolio insights and recommendations required to make investment, sequencing, capacity and resource trade-offs across the I2C/GTM ecosystem
  • Monitor portfolio-level risks, dependencies, and capacity constraints, escalating issues and enabling informed business decisions to maintain delivery commitments.

I2C/GTM Business Process Infrastructure & PM Foundations

  • Establishing the foundational PMO toolkit for I2C/GTM business process–driven projects, including playbooks, RACI models, templates, risk/issue frameworks, dependency mapping, and milestone governance.
  • Assessing all existing project‑related SharePoint, documentation ecosystems, and workflows, then architecting the future‑state structure and logic to eliminate redundancy and improve usability across the I2C/GTM ecosystem.
  • Building a consistent project intake and evaluation model, connecting resource needs, business case rigor, and strategic alignment within the I2C/GTM ecosystem.

Cross-Functional Delivery & Execution

  • Leading large-scale cross-functional programs and transformation initiatives across Product Creation and the broader I2C/GTM ecosystem, ensuring teams move in lockstep and deliver predictable, measurable value.
  • Drive cross-functional planning and execution by aligning project scope, milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and key decisions, ensuring teams remain coordinated throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Monitor delivery performance, proactively identifying and resolving project risks, issues, resource constraints, and execution challenges to maintain predictable outcomes and delivery momentum.
  • Delivering clear and concise synthesized project portfolio updates to senior leadership, articulating status, risks, interdependencies, and needed decisions.

Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement

  • Within the I2C/GTM ecosystem working with key team and business functions -identifying gaps, mapping fragmentation, and enabling teams to adopt consistent ways of working.
  • Developing a strong culture of continuous improvement, establishing the PMO as the center of excellence for governance, project management practices, and operational evolution across the I2C ecosystem.
  • Partnering with I2C connected teams to ensure that processes, systems, and tools scale with the organization’s growth.

  • Leading cross-functional alignment, governance, and project management support for strategic Product Creation and other high-priority I2C/GTM initiatives, ensuring predictable execution and measurable business outcomes.
