WORK ASSIGNMENT DETAILS

Waukesha County Health & Human Services is seeking a caring individual to organize and supervise the serving of meals and the delivery of Meals on Wheels to local seniors.

Perfect hours for the newly retired, stay at home moms and dads, and those looking to give back to their community. Grow or share your leadership skills by assisting with and overseeing the work of our excellent volunteers.

The need is for substitute/on-call coverage for absences and scheduled time off for the regular dining center managers. Ideal candidates will be able to travel throughout Waukesha County to all 6 County senior dining centers as needed.

Typical work hours are 9:30 am - 2:30 pm, Monday - Friday.  No holidays or weekends.

Minimum Training & Experience Requirements
1.    High School Diploma or GED. 
2.    One year of work or volunteer experience working with the elderly or work experience in the preparation and serving of food is preferred. 
3.    Certification in food safety and sanitation, ServSafe, or program-specific training certification upon hire or within ninety (90) days of hire.
