Role Overview 

Technical and Platform Responsibilities

• Lead collaboration with Product Engineering teams to architect and deliver scalable, secure, and reliable SaaS platform solutions.
• Own end-to-end DevOps and platform engineering initiatives from design through production readiness.
• Design and lead AI-driven automation for cloud-native infrastructure and DevOps workflows.
• Lead AIOps capabilities for proactive monitoring, incident detection, root cause analysis, and automated remediation.
• Architect self-healing infrastructure and validated automated recovery workflows.
• Establish AI-assisted CI/CD practices for faster, secure, traceable, and reliable delivery.
• Drive Kubernetes reliability, predictive scaling, capacity planning, and intelligent resource management.
• Define automation patterns and operational standards across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments.
• Set and improve platform reliability, scalability, performance, security, and cost-efficiency standards.
• Evaluate emerging DevOps and AI-driven operational technologies and guide production adoption based on measurable value and risk.

Ownership and Collaboration Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for the design and delivery of key platform components and DevOps initiatives.
• Partner with architects, engineering leaders, senior engineers, and tech leads to deliver high-impact projects.
• Plan, prioritize, and deliver strategic projects with clear ownership, milestones, risk management, and accountability.
• Drive cross-functional alignment across Product, Engineering, Security, SRE, and customer-facing teams.
• Translate business and operational challenges into scalable platform designs, standards, and implementation roadmaps.
• Define and uphold high standards for architecture, engineering quality, security, reliability, and operational excellence.
• Take full ownership of outcomes, including technical decisions, delivery quality, production readiness, and continuous improvement.

What You Bring/Qualifications: 

• Strong Linux/Unix administration skills, preferably Red Hat or Ubuntu.
• Strong programming skills in Python, with the ability to design maintainable automation frameworks and review production-quality code.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.
• Deep understanding of container platforms and Kubernetes architecture, operations, networking, storage, and security.
• Proven hands-on experience designing and operating Kubernetes platforms in SaaS or production environments.
• Advanced experience with Helm, Terraform, and reusable Infrastructure as Code patterns.
• Hands-on experience implementing GitOps using Argo CD, Flux CD, or equivalent tools.
• Strong experience designing and governing CI/CD platforms using Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or equivalent tools.
• Experience implementing secure automation, quality controls, policy enforcement, and release governance within CI/CD workflows.
• Strong understanding of microservices, distributed systems, failure modes, and resilient design patterns.
• Strong experience with observability platforms and standards, including Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, and OpenTelemetry.
• Advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills across distributed, cloud-native environments.
• Proven experience architecting or operating highly available, resilient, and recoverable systems.
• Working knowledge of AI/ML platforms, Generative AI infrastructure, model observability, and safe operational integration.
• Strong knowledge of DevSecOps, supply chain security, secrets management, vulnerability management, and security automation frameworks.
