Reed in Partnership's Employability Division positively transforms lives by helping individuals who are unemployed, economically inactive, or facing barriers such as health conditions, disabilities and caring responsibilities to move into sustainable employment. Through tailored support, skills development and employer engagement, we have supported hundreds of thousands of people on their journey into work.

As we continue to evolve our data and technology capabilities, we are looking for an exceptional Business Intelligence Manager - Data Insights to lead our Data, Insights & Analytics function and help shape the future of evidence-based decision making across the organisation.

What is the role about?

As the Senior Data Insights and Governance Manager, you will provide strategic leadership across data analytics, business intelligence, labour market intelligence, AI and data governance. Leading a multidisciplinary team of Analysts, Data Scientists, Machine Learning Engineers and Data Governance specialists, you will play a pivotal role in transforming complex data into actionable insights that drive business performance and strategic decision-making.

Working closely with senior leaders, operational teams and Directors, you will develop and deliver insight strategies, establish governance frameworks, oversee advanced analytics initiatives and champion the use of AI and emerging technologies to create measurable business value.

Just some of your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Leadership & Team Development

Business Intelligence Managers lead and inspire multidisciplinary teams, creating a high-performance culture focused on collaboration, innovation and continuous improvement. You'll coach and develop specialist teams while ensuring resources are prioritised effectively to deliver organisational objectives.

Insight & Performance Leadership

You'll oversee the delivery of strategic insight and analytics that support business growth, operational performance and customer outcomes. This includes developing KPI frameworks, driving performance reviews, conducting root-cause analysis and translating complex information into clear recommendations for stakeholders.

Stakeholder Engagement & Business Partnership

Acting as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, you'll build strong relationships across Operations, Finance, Commercial, IT and Product teams. You'll influence decision-making through evidence-based insight and regularly present findings, opportunities and risks to executive and Board-level audiences.

Data Governance & Quality

You'll lead the development and continuous improvement of data governance frameworks, driving data quality, ownership and accountability across the organisation while ensuring compliance with GDPR and information governance requirements.

Artificial Intelligence & Innovation

You'll identify opportunities to leverage AI, machine learning and intelligent automation to improve efficiency, performance and customer outcomes. Working across the business, you'll help shape the organisation's AI roadmap and establish governance and best practice for emerging technologies.

Technical Leadership & Analytics

You'll provide leadership across reporting, analytics, data science and machine learning activities, ensuring teams deliver robust, insightful and business-focused solutions using modern technologies such as Power BI, SQL, Azure, Snowflake, Databricks and advanced analytical tools.

What's in it for you?

Alongside a competitive salary, Reed in Partnership offers excellent opportunities for personal and professional development, including:

  • 25 days annual leave, plus bank holidays
  • Reed Pension Scheme
  • Award-winning Management & Leadership training
  • Professional & Personal Development Funds
  • Bi-annual pay reviews
  • Career progression opportunities
  • Access to a wide range of Reed in Partnership employee benefits

Plus much more!

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping how data, insight and artificial intelligence are used across a large and purpose-driven organisation. You'll have the opportunity to influence strategic decision-making while helping deliver positive outcomes for the people and communities we serve.
