Senior Data Analyst, Sumaré/SP

Collaborate with Innovative 3Mers Around the World

As a Senior Data Analyst you will enable Global Business Services, business, finance and commercial success by supporting our GBS Analytics & Insights organization through data and analytics solutions, leveraging SQL-based reporting logic and Power BI dashboards. This role will help improve visibility into prioritized end-to-end value streams like Order to Cash, Market to Order as well as Global Marketing & Sales Services across global business teams with a follow the sun model. You will partner with global, regional, and local stakeholders across business, pricing, finance, commercial, and data teams to ensure accurate data, reliable reporting, and actionable insights, while helping ensure work aligns with broader Analytics & Insights portfolio priorities.

As a Senior Data Analyst, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with diverse teams around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Creating and maintaining order management, pricing, or digital marketing ad-hoc analysis and reporting.

• Developing SQL queries to support customer data validation, in customer services, pricing analysis, margin visibility, marketing campaigns.

• Building and maintaining Power BI dashboards that provide insights into end-to-end value stream operations, in Customer Services, Pricing and digital marketing.

• Partnering with global, regional, and local stakeholders to gather requirements, validate data, document improvement opportunities, and implement reporting best practices.

• Documenting reporting logic, SQL queries, Power BI dashboard definitions, data sources, and business rules.

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, candidates should have the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree.

• Experience in reporting, analytics, business analysis, pricing analysis, financial analysis, marketing analytics or a related role in a private, public, government, or military environment.

• Solid experience using SQL for data extraction, transformation, validation, or reporting.

• Solid experience in creating or maintaining dashboards in Power BI.

• Solid experience in python-enabled exploratory analysis.

• Awareness of generative AI tools for exploratory data analysis, including opportunities to propose their integration into reporting solutions.

• Ability to analyze data, identify trends or issues, and translate business requirements into reports or dashboards.

• Ability to work with global stakeholders across multiple regions, functions, and time zones.

• Basic understanding of data governance principles, including single source of truth concepts and adherence to enterprise data standards.

• Advanced English level.

Additional qualifications that could help candidates succeed even further in this role include:

• Experience with data storytelling.

• Solid experience with DAX, PowerQuery, Snowflake.

• Experience with conversational BI (AI/BI, Generative BI, etc).

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, including familiarity with sprint-based delivery.

• B2B background, relevant work experience, or agency experience with a B2B focus

• Proficient in both digital marketing platforms (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager) and traditional business intelligence tools (SQL, Tableau, Power BI, Excel) to deliver comprehensive data insights.

• Skilled in analyzing digital performance metrics (CTR, CPA, ROAS, conversion rates) alongside core operational and financial metrics (revenue, cost variance, efficiency ratios).

• Experienced in real-time campaign optimization and A/B testing, as well as periodic financial/operational reporting and forecasting.

• Combines strategic focus on customer acquisition and channel performance with operational efficiency and process improvement expertise.

Work location

This role follows an on-site working model, requiring the employee to work at least four days a week at 3M in Sumaré/SP
