About the role

Our growing team is looking for a Senior Data Analyst - Operational Performance Analytics!

Our team delivers critical daily and weekly reporting supporting Underwriting Operations. We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst to lead Power BI solution design and play a key role in the SAS-to-Databricks migration (PySpark/SQL). This position offers a technical leadership role with direct impact on our analytics platform transformation.

What you'll do here:

• Design Power BI solution architecture (models, governance, security, performance).
• Lead major components of the SAS-to-Databricks migration (PySpark/SQL).
• Resolve complex incidents (L2/L3) affecting reports and underlying data.
• Review work from junior/intermediate developers and establish technical standards.
• Optimize performance of Power BI reports and Databricks processes.

What you bring to the table:

• 7-10 years of relevant experience in Power BI/BI and data development.
• Strong proficiency in DAX, Power Query, SQL, and PySpark.
• Demonstrated experience in critical production environments.
• Databricks Workflows, Unity Catalog, knowledge of SAS, Git, AWS (asset).
• Bilingualism (French and English) – Need to interact on a regular basis with colleagues across the country.
• No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
