ABOUT THE ROLE 

Ready to stop the scroll and put Malibu and Kahlúa at the heart of culture? 

As Senior Brand Manager Social Media, your role is to put Malibu and Kahlua at the center of culture, owning and leading our social platforms to drive relevance, conversation, and connection with our audience. 

You are highly creative, agile, and culturally obsessed storyteller who lives and breathes social media. You know how to translate trends and social chatter into native, high-performing content for TikTok, Instagram, and beyond, and to build social content strategies that connect meaningfully with consumers across every platform. The role demands a deep cultural understanding, always staying ahead of pop culture, where the target audience acts and lives. 

You have strong production experience and platform fluency, understanding how to craft and execute best in class, platform native content including influencer and paid content, and build digital stories across a spectrum of platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, and other platforms as the social landscape evolves. You are also data driven, using social performance insights to continuously sharpen content and strategy. 

You make the above happening by inspiring, motivating, and collaborating with key markets, ensuring social creative content comes to life in a way that inspires discovery, drives brand preference, elevates consideration, and fosters advocacy.  

Please note that this is an 18 months contract, reporting to the Head of Digital & Social Media.

Main responsibilities and tasks: 

• Lead development of the Brand Social Media strategy  

• Lead creative content development, supported by the Comms team, across organic, influencer, and paid social activities  

• Own performance tracking and optimization of social strategy and activations, using data to inform decisions  

• Manage and strengthen the relationship with the external social media agency, ensuring effective strategic partnership  

• Create brand guidelines for markets covering influencer and campaign activations 

• Guide and support Key Markets to ensure quality and consistency of social content execution

This role could be for you if you: 

• University degree in business/marketing  

• Minimum of 8 years marketing experience, ideally within a globally managed business, from major FMCG companies, spirits, or leading global brands known for social first work  

• Proven experience building and scaling social first content, ideally with hands on knowledge of TikTok, Instagram, and emerging platforms  

• Experience working with digital or social agencies, influencers, and content production, either client side or agency side  

• Comfortable using social analytics and performance data to inform content and strategy decisions  

• Strong creative acumen, with an instinct for what makes content culturally relevant and high performing  

• Deep understanding of global trends and cultural nuances across markets  

• Must be fluent in English, other languages can be beneficial
