Senior BI Analyst

Position Overview

The successful candidate will be accountable for defining and implementing data and analytics products to transform complex data into meaningful business insights. This role is an individual contributor joining a wider team of Business Intelligence (BI) professionals supporting a Tier One strategic client within JLL.

You will demonstrate strong technical skills with the ability to convert raw data into meaningful analysis through a variety of techniques ranging from data wrangling to data visualisation and data modelling, underpinned by a foundational understanding of data governance processes. This position is a perfect fit for a senior analyst looking to evolve their business domain expertise alongside deep technical and analytical development.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Delivery & BI Development

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of robust Data & BI products (dashboards, reports, and analytical tools) that drive insight-driven decision-making.
• Build, optimize, and support automated data pipelines and integration processes to ensure data is standardized, robust, and delivered efficiently.
• Conduct exploratory data mining and deep-dive analysis on large, complex, and ambiguous datasets to uncover key trends and operational performance drivers.
• Translate qualitative client feedback and complex quantitative results into structured, actionable business recommendations.

Data Governance & Best Practices

• Design and implement data quality, standardisation, and data governance controls to maintain high-quality data products.
• Develop, document, and maintain best-practice standards, data dictionaries, and SOPs to successfully embed data products within the line of business.
• Ensure all client-facing and internal dashboards, reporting templates, and data presentations strictly adhere to corporate brand standards, utilizing resources and assets sourced from the JLL Brand Portal (https://brandportal.jll.com).

Stakeholder Management & Storytelling

• Partner closely with business leaders, operations teams, and client representatives to conceptualise complex business challenges and translate them into well-structured analytics roadmaps.
• Act as an effective communicator, successfully articulating technical concepts, data limitations, and architectural requirements to a non-technical audience.

Qualifications & Experience

Required

• Experience: 5+ years of relevant work experience in Business Intelligence, Analytics, Data Advisory, or highly technical consulting roles.
• Technical Stack: Advanced proficiency in SQL for querying and data preparation, paired with expert-level experience building production-grade dashboards in Tableau.
• ETL & Data Warehousing: Hands-on experience working with modern cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake) and intermediate knowledge of code-free/low-code ETL technologies (e.g., Alteryx).
• Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including a proven track record of synthesizing complex data into compelling business stories. Fluent English is critical to this role's success.
• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Intelligence, Data Science, Computer Science, Econometrics, Statistics, Information Management, or a related quantitative field.

Preferred

• Programming: Foundational knowledge of programming languages (R and/or Python) for data manipulation.
• API Integration: Experience integrating data sources using APIs.
• Industry Experience: Understanding of Commercial Real Estate operations or Facilities Management performance metrics.
