SENIOR ASSOCIATE, PROMOTIONAL CLAIMS

As a Senior Associate, Promotional Claims supporting the Promotion/Advertising Regulatory Affairs team, you will be trusted to coordinate global product claims and promotional review workflows using Veeva PromoMats from our Global Business Services hub in Mexico City. You will collaborate with international Marketing teams and cross-functional stakeholders, globally. 

In this role, a typical day will include: 

• Managing the end-to-end claims workflow in Veeva PromoMats, including receiving claims, assigning reviewers, monitoring progress, documenting decisions, and supporting timely completion. 

• Scheduling, preparing for, and independently facilitating global claims review meetings, ensuring that decisions, actions, owners, and next steps are clearly documented. 

• Partnering with Global Marketing, Promotion/Advertising Regulatory Affairs, Legal, Quality Assurance, and other cross-functional teams to coordinate reviews, resolve workflow matters, and keep claims moving through the process. 

• Maintaining complete, accurate, and audit-ready records while ensuring adherence to established procedures, governance requirements, and applicable Good Practice regulations. 

• Supporting continuous improvement and claims review activities across a variety of lines of business and product classifications, including medical devices, pharmaceutical products, over-the-counter products, and combination products.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON 

• Bachelor’s degree in science, marketing, or business degree or relevant experience in Life sciences. 

• Typically, 3 to 6 years of relevant professional experience in life sciences, medical devices, pharmaceutical products, consumer healthcare, regulatory operations, promotional review, marketing compliance, or another regulated environment. 

• Required hands-on experience as an end user of Veeva PromoMats. 

• Experience coordinating cross-functional projects, claims, promotional materials, approval workflows, or review processes. 

• Advanced professional English, including the ability to independently facilitate meetings and communicate confidently with global stakeholders. 

• Strong organizational and project coordination skills, with close attention to detail and consistent follow-through. 

• Ability to manage multiple priorities, solve routine workflow problems, and work independently with minimal supervision. 

• Confidence communicating with stakeholders across Global Marketing, Legal, Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, and other teams. 

• A collaborative mindset, learning agility, and interest in developing into a subject-matter expert and trusted point of contact.
