Role Summary and Impact
As part of the Global Operations Centre (GOC), you will work closely with teams across the United States, Europe, and Asia to deliver high-impact solutions in a collaborative, multicultural environment. We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer, Data Operations who will:

Design, build, and maintain cloud-based data solutions, supporting business intelligence, media performance reporting, and data quality compliance.

Collaborate with data engineers, developers, and UX designers to develop data pipelines and workflows, managing the design, build, and maintenance phases of client reporting projects.

Partner with Business Intelligence and Data Operations teams to define and document reporting and visualization requirements.

Ensure data quality and provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing workspaces.

Onboard new client teams to cloud data solutions, providing guidance and support throughout implementation.

Define QA guidelines and automate existing quality assurance processes to improve accuracy and efficiency.

Develop tools, processes, and best practices with support from the Associate Director to improve workflows and deliver value to client teams.

Act as a subject matter expert in data quality, BI tools, and business rules, ensuring consistent application of best practices across projects.

Coordinate status meetings and working sessions, tracking tasks and deliverables across multiple stakeholders and projects.

Proactively identify, escalate, and resolve project roadblocks and delivery issues.

Report to the US-based Associate Director, communicating project status, progress, and risks.

Build collaborative relationships with internal teams, clearly communicating roles, responsibilities, and expectations.
Skills and Experience
-
3–4 years of relevant professional experience is preferred.
-
At least 2–3 years of experience in data governance processes within data warehousing, ETL, and business intelligence environments.

Experience with the full development lifecycle of an application or reporting solution, from design through testing and deployment.

Advanced knowledge of SQL, relational databases, and data warehouses, including technologies such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redshift, or Snowflake.

Advanced proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Python.

Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, or AWS.
-
Knowledge of data engineering platforms such as Databricks.

Familiarity with business intelligence tools such as Tableau or Power BI.

Familiarity with project and product management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, or Azure DevOps/VSTS.

Experience with advertising campaign management, media buying, measurement, and analytics platforms, such as Sizmek, Google Campaign Manager, Flashtalking, Moat, DoubleVerify, IAS, MediaOcean, Media Tools, Nielsen, Comscore, social advertising platforms, Google Ads, Bing, Kenshoo, SA360, DV360, Google Analytics, or Adobe Analytics.

Understanding of processes across digital, search, social, and offline media, with experience handling diverse datasets, including paid and owned media data.

Experience in media, digital investment, analytics, or ad operations is preferred.

A bachelor’s or advanced degree in Statistics, Economics, Business, Mathematics, Computer Science, or another scientific discipline is preferred.

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across functional teams.

Strong organizational and prioritization skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects, competing deliverables, and deadlines.
