JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
What you will do:
Advertising, Sponsorship & Revenue Support
- Collaborate with Astro Sales and Creative Solutions to support advertising strategies and revenue growth initiatives.
- Lead early-stage sales enablement by conducting timely briefings and sharing comprehensive program decks and deliverables (6–8 months prior to TX).
- Provide content-driven insights to address client needs, develop sponsorship and integration opportunities, and support the achievement of program KPIs and annual revenue targets.
Channel, Content Strategy & Management
- Support channel and brand positioning through data-driven insights and performance analysis.
- Develop and execute content strategies aligned with market trends, audience behaviour, and business objectives.
- Monitor content performance and provide insights to drive audience growth, engagement, and retention.
- Ensure content availability and optimisation across all platforms, in line with rights and distribution requirements.
- Manage reporting, data tracking, and database accuracy to support performance reviews and strategic decision-making.
- Oversee financial tracking of program-related payments and ensure compliance with contractual terms.
- Support content evaluation, acquisition, and lifecycle management, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines.
- Coordinate documentation and act as gatekeeper to ensure all required materials are complete prior to production.
- Provide feedback on production partners and support post-performance evaluations.
Operations
- Monitor content delivery timelines, ensuring materials are received at least 4 weeks prior to TX.
- Ensure compliance with technical and content requirements, including standardized durations and quality checks.
- Support Operations in transmission meetings with Broadcast Operations and Engineering for live and transmission-related matters, and coordinate with key departments (Scheduling, Media Library, QA, Subtitling, PARS, Playout, etc.) to ensure all programme materials are house-mastered, subtitled, QA-approved, and fully ready for transmission (TX).
- Oversee and review Forward Planning Calendar (FPC), ensuring readiness at least two months in advance.
- Develop effective scheduling strategies, including managing channel clashes, identifying optimal time belts, and improving overall programming performance.
- To monitor, support and ensure the timely fulfilment of all materials, issues, requirements from Sooka, On Demand and AG are managed and fulfilled promptly
Stakeholder Management
- Act as the key liaison between channel and internal stakeholders, share program decks and updates to support integrated marketing and promotional planning.
- Ensure timely briefings, 3–5 months before TX, Full stakeholder alignment, ongoing updates on production, format, and key changes
- Work closely with stakeholders ie Marketing, Communications, and Digital teams to ensure strong promotion and visibility of all content.

Special Campaigns across Malay Channels
- Support the execution of key campaigns (e.g. Ramadan, Raya, Merdeka, Malaysia Day, Anniversary, New Year) in alignment with business objectives.Provide responsive, on-demand support for ad hoc projects across Malay channels ensuring timely execution and strategic alignment.
