Über diese Senior Analyst Transformation Stelle bei News Corp Australia
What's the role?
Are you a commercially minded analyst who excels at translating complex subscriber data into revenue-driving initiatives? We are seeking a Senior Analyst to play a pivotal role in optimising our core consumer subscription business across our renowned portfolio of mastheads.
Reporting directly to the Head of Transformation and Enablement, you will deliver and optimise our Customer Value Management (CVM) and pricing program across our owned platforms and third-party app stores. By leading pricing strategy execution, building self-serve automation, simplifying legacy packages, and crafting tailored subscriber communications, you will be instrumental in boosting commercial and customer metrics.
About the role
In this role, you will lead high-impact value management programs to drive commercial growth and improve customer metrics across our digital and print brands:
- Own the execution of the existing-customer pricing and CVM program, segmenting high-value and high-risk cohorts to optimise revenue and balance churn. Identify opportunities for improvement.
- Plan and execute price rise campaigns across Apple App Store and Google Play platforms, ensuring technical compliance.
- Build, test, and maintain automated UAT logic, data extracts, and self-serve dashboards tracking revenue, price adoption, churn, and switches versus forecast.
- Partner with Pricing, Finance, and Commerce teams to reduce legacy packages and streamline configurations ahead of billing, CRM, and marketing cloud upgrades.
- Design targeted value-proposition messaging across email, SMS, and My Account, while configuring Next Best Offer (NBO) retention flows to minimise manual agent handling.
- Guide and develop one direct report while partnering with cross-functional teams (Growth, Campaign Operations, Finance, Legal, and Customer Care) to ensure seamless delivery.
Who are you?
We are looking for an outcome-focused, analytical problem solver with strong commercial instincts and stakeholder management skills:
- You bring circa 5+ years of experience in customer value management (CVM), pricing, subscription strategy, or commercial analytics (backed by relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent practical experience).
- You possess advanced Excel skills and a proven track record of synthesising complex data into clear strategic narratives and actionable executive recommendations.
- You excel at managing multi-faceted projects and navigating competing deadlines across complex, fast-paced commercial environments.
- You possess strong written and verbal communication skills, with an eye for detail when drafting customer-facing messaging or presenting performance insights to senior leaders.
- You are a self-starter who models collaborative ways of working, with the leadership capability to mentor a direct report and maintain high standards of accuracy and quality.
- Familiarity with subscription and billing systems, CRM platforms such as Salesforce, and third-party app stores such as Google Play and the Apple App Store would be an advantage.
