Job Description:

You will be:

As part of the Merchandising Systems team, you will play a critical role in driving business performance through the design, development, and execution of world-class merchandising technology solutions. This role is focused on building and supporting scalable systems that support evolving business needs and enable data-driven merchandising decisions. 

What you will do:

● Drive the highest levels of customer service and stability.

● Monitor the environment to proactively identify, troubleshoot and resolve issues.

● Conduct root cause analysis to identify and resolve complex problems impacting service levels.

● Foster technical and procedural excellence within the IT department for Merchandising systems and processes.

● Coordinate with other IT departments to facilitate requirements, objectives, and manage Incidents.

● Participate in after-hours escalations and maintenance as needed.

You also have:
● Bachelor’s degree (B.E/B.Tech/M.Tech Computer science or related specialization) and minimum of 5+ years of experience in Software development.

● 5+ years of experience with PL/SQL and UNIX Shell scripting.

● Nice to have Pro*c experience.

● Proficient in Python development.

● Solid understanding of cloud platforms, with a preference for AWS.

● Good analytical skills.

● Nice to have Retail experience.

● Excellent communication skills.

What you will bring:

● A strong understanding of retail merchandising processes, including planning, buying, allocation, and replenishment.

● Experience in implementing or supporting merchandising or ERP systems.

● Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions, with a focus on user experience and operational efficiency.

● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and drive actionable insights.

● Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with a proven ability to work cross-functionally with business, IT, and vendor teams.

● A mindset focused on continuous improvement, innovation, and adaptability in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

● Familiarity with campaign execution tools, product lifecycle management, and data governance is a plus.

● Passion for leveraging technology to enhance merchandising strategy and improve business outcomes.
