The opportunity

As our Senior Analyst you'll play a key role in strengthening and evolving Netwealth's adviser and licensee oversight program.

You'll work across the business to assess adviser conduct, identify emerging risks, review controls, investigate issues, and provide insights that help protect clients while supporting sustainable growth.

If you've built your career in adviser oversight, governance, compliance, assurance, risk, or monitoring and you're looking for a role where your work genuinely matters, this could be the role for you.

You'll be trusted to:

• Lead complex reviews and investigations

• Analyse conduct, governance and customer outcome risks

• Identify patterns, trends and emerging issues

• Provide recommendations that drive meaningful change

• Support governance reporting and executive decision making

• Coach and guide other analysts across the team

• Partner with Distribution, Product, Legal, Risk & Compliance and Operations stakeholders across the business.

You'll have the autonomy to think critically, challenge constructively and help shape how adviser oversight continues to evolve at Netwealth.

What makes this role interesting?

This role focuses on understanding why issues occur and helping prevent them from happening again.

You'll be looking beyond individual cases and asking:

• What's the root cause?

• Is this an isolated event or an emerging trend?

• What controls should exist?

• How do we improve customer outcomes?

You'll influence decisions without relying on authority, work with senior stakeholders across the business, and help ensure our governance framework remains strong in an increasingly complex regulatory environment.

You'll be successful if

You've worked in:

• Adviser oversight

• Risk & compliance

• Governance

• Assurance

• Wealth management

• Financial advice

• Platform operations

• Licensee monitoring

• Financial services investigations

and you're comfortable:

• Leading complex reviews independently

• Assessing regulatory and conduct risks

• Analysing large volumes of information

• Making evidence-based decisions

• Translating technical findings into clear business recommendations

• Communicating confidently with senior stakeholders.

Experience with adviser obligations, advice fees, client consents, disclosure requirements, complaints, incident reporting, remediation programs or risk monitoring frameworks will be highly regarded.
