ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior AI Engineer to help build, support and enhance enterprise-scale AI platforms and solutions. In this role, you will work closely with engineers, architects and AI delivery teams to enable the deployment, operation and continuous improvement of AI and GenAI capabilities across the organization.

This is an opportunity to work with modern cloud-native technologies, large-scale data platforms, machine learning systems and emerging Generative AI capabilities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design, develop and maintain scalable AI and data platform solutions.
• Support the deployment, monitoring and operation of machine learning and Generative AI applications in production environments.
• Build and enhance AI platform capabilities to onboard new AI use cases and improve developer experience.
• Develop and maintain automation, CI/CD pipelines and operational tooling for AI workloads.
• Participate in solution design, architecture discussions and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with AI product teams, data engineers, architects and infrastructure teams to deliver robust solutions.
• Ensure solutions meet organizational standards for security, compliance, auditability and operational excellence.
• Contribute to testing strategies, reusable test frameworks and release processes.
• Participate in post-implementation reviews and continuous improvement initiatives
• Fulfill other tasks as assigned by your People Leader and/or authorized representative of NAB Vietnam from time to time.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

• 7+ years of experience in software engineering, platform engineering or data engineering.
• Experience supporting and operating production systems in cloud environments.
• Hands-on experience with: Python, SQL, Databricks, Apache Spark, Kafka
• Strong understanding of software engineering best practices including CI/CD, version control and automated testing.
• Experience with cloud-native services and distributed data platforms.

AI & Machine Learning

• Experience evaluating, deploying and supporting machine learning models in production.
• Understanding of LLM and Generative AI concepts.
• Familiarity with AI model evaluation techniques, including deterministic and subjective evaluation frameworks.
• Experience with AI lifecycle management, monitoring and governance is highly desirable.
• Experience with one or more of: AWS S3, AWS RDS, Redshift, Glue, Athena, DynamoDB, EMR, Kinesis, Apache Airflow
• Experience with: GitHub, Jenkins, Platform automation, Infrastructure and deployment tooling
