Senior Account Manager (SVP)

Location: Mauritius

Role Overview:

The Senior Account Manager (SVP) owns the end-to-end delivery of fund accounting portfolios, with full accountability for accuracy, timelines, client servicing, and control.

This role brings senior review authority, client ownership, and team oversight, ensuring consistent delivery in line with Apex standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Delivery Ownership

• Own delivery of NAVs, filings, and client reporting across portfolios
• Ensure strict adherence to deadlines and SLAs
• Maintain full visibility on team outputs and pipelines

Senior Review & Sign-Off

• Final review and sign-off on:
  • NAV calculations including calculation of management and performance fees
  • Investor transactions, wires, Middle office and communications
  • Financial statements (IFRS/GAAP)
  • Tax computations (PAYE, TDS, filings)
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and audit readiness

Client Management

• Act as primary client contact
• Manage queries, expectations, and issue resolution
• Maintain consistent, high-quality client experience

Audit, Tax & Compliance

• Lead point of contact for audit, tax, and compliance queries
• Ensure AML/KYC adherence and documentation completeness
• Drive timely closure of audit points

Team Oversight

• Oversee Account Managers and teams on:
  • Work allocation
  • Deadlines and deliverables
  • Quality before submission
• Proactively escalate risks and delays

Operational Control

• Oversee fund wires, subscriptions/redemptions
• Ensure accurate settlement of fees and debtor accounts
• Maintain integrity of financial flows

Process Discipline

• Drive efficiency and consistency in workflows
• Strengthen review mechanisms and output quality

Skills & Experience

• 10–14+ years in fund accounting
• ACCA (or equivalent)
• Strong hands-on expertise in NAV, reporting, and fund operations
• Well versed with laws and regulations governing GBCs
• Proven track record in delivery ownership and client handling
