JOB DESCRIPTION:

Reporting to the Manager, Consolidations and Intercompany, the Senior Accountant, Consolidations and Intercompany will support the Company’s consolidation, intercompany, elimination, and related close activities in a complex public-company environment.

This role is intended for a detail-oriented accounting professional who can support accurate consolidated results, timely intercompany reconciliation and elimination processes, and reliable documentation for management review, SOX compliance, and external audit support.

The Senior Accountant will contribute to material weakness remediation by strengthening execution discipline, supporting intercompany governance, improving documentation and support quality, and helping ensure data integrity throughout the consolidation process.

How you will Own It: 

· Prepare consolidation entries, elimination entries, roll-forward schedules, fluctuation analysis and close deliverables as assigned.

· Assist with validating entity-level submissions, consolidated results, and supporting schedules for completeness and accuracy.

· Support data integrity within Financial Consolidation and Close Cloud Service (FCCS) by assisting with mapping, data loads, reconciliations, and review of system outputs.

· Prepare audit-ready support for consolidation and close activities used by management, Financial Reporting, and external auditors.

Intercompany Accounting & Eliminations

· Prepare or support intercompany reconciliations, confirmations, settlements, eliminations, and related analysis.

· Investigate intercompany mismatches, aging balances, and reconciling items, escalating unresolved issues timely.

· Partner with business units, shared services, tax, treasury, and financial reporting to obtain support and resolve intercompany questions.

· Maintain clear documentation supporting intercompany balances, eliminations, and resolution of open items.

SOX, Controls & Remediation Support

· Execute assigned SOX controls related to consolidations, intercompany, eliminations, and system-generated reports.

· Support remediation efforts by improving documentation, evidence retention, reconciliation follow-up, and consistency of execution.

· Assist with audit requests and management review support related to consolidation and intercompany processes.

Process Improvement & Stakeholder Support

· Identify opportunities to improve intercompany reconciliation templates, consolidation support, close checklists, and documentation standards.

· Contribute to process improvements that reduce manual effort, improve transparency, and strengthen close governance.

· Communicate clearly with team members and stakeholders regarding open items, required support, and close deadlines.

What you’ll Bring: 

· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

· 3–5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with public accounting and/or public company experience preferred

· Understanding of U.S. GAAP, SOX controls, audit support expectations, and monthly close requirements

· Experience working with ERP or consolidation systems; FCCS experience preferred

· Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, documentation discipline, and ability to meet deadlines

Strongly Preferred

· CPA or CPA candidate preferred

· Experience with consolidations, intercompany accounting, eliminations, account reconciliations, or multi-entity close processes

· Experience supporting close process improvement, control enhancement, or remediation activities

· Comfort working in a complex, multi-entity environment with evolving processes and high documentation expectations

· Highly detail-oriented and comfortable working through reconciliations, eliminations, and data questions

· Organized and disciplined in preparing support, resolving open items, and meeting close deadlines

· Curious, proactive, and willing to dig into mismatches or unusual activity to identify root causes

· Motivated by helping strengthen a more reliable, transparent, and well-controlled consolidation process
