Build trusted customer relationships across transportation and critical infrastructure. We are seeking a Senior Account Executive to win new business and grow existing relationships with organizations that keep people and goods moving. You will lead complex SaaS sales from prospecting through close, working with multiple stakeholders and, where appropriate, channel partners.
The customer landscape includes airlines and other passenger or cargo transportation providers; cruise lines and railroads; airports, seaports, and transit authorities; and logistics, trucking, freight, and supply chain organizations. You will work across a defined portfolio of accounts. Specific account assignments are shared during the hiring process.
What you'll do:
Develop a strong understanding of customer organizations, their priorities, relevant industry dynamics, and the solutions available to them.
Build and maintain a healthy pipeline through research, outreach, prospecting, and opportunity development.
Create relationships with multiple decision-makers and influencers within complex organizations.
Lead consultative, value-based sales cycles directly and in partnership with channel partners.
Advance and close enterprise opportunities, including deals exceeding $100,000 in annual
contract value.
Partner with Marketing and Business Development on campaigns that engage target buyers.
Meet or exceed sales and quarterly bookings goals; maintain accurate opportunity, forecast, and
activity records in Salesforce.
What you'll bring:
At least 5 years of successful SaaS sales experience, ideally in enterprise or complex B2B sales.
A track record of selling to transportation, logistics, critical infrastructure, or closely related organizations; direct passenger or cargo transportation experience is especially relevant.
Experience managing consultative sales cycles, building executive relationships, and engaging multiple stakeholders.
Strong prospecting, presentation, negotiation, written communication, and closing skills.
History of meeting or exceeding quota, supported by measurable results.
Comfort using Salesforce and applying AI tools to improve research, productivity, or sales workflows.
Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Ability to work from the United States, live within practical reach of a major airport, and travel at least 30%.
Nice to have:
Experience opening new markets or winning new customers (“hunter” sales experience).
Success growing revenue in existing transportation or infrastructure accounts.
Deep experience in transportation, infrastructure security, law enforcement, or adjacent technology markets; 15 or more years of relevant industry experience is a plus.
Experience managing a high volume of opportunities and navigating security-conscious buying environments; an active security clearance is a plus.
The reasonably estimated salary for this role at Everbridge ranges from $125,000 - $130,000 and may also include variable compensation. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
