The Role

The Senior Accommodation Administrator supports the effective administration of leave and accommodation programs through case management, issue resolution, work distribution, pay-impacting inbound file research, and records management. The role also contributes to team success by identifying and implementing process improvements, promoting standard practices, enhancing operational efficiency, and supporting continuous improvement efforts that strengthen service delivery and the overall associate experience.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

• Demonstrated knowledge of FMLA, leave management, ADAAA, disability accommodations, and related HR processes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, including the ability to research complex issues, evaluate case details, identify root causes, and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Ability to navigate ambiguous situations, exercise sound judgment, work independently, and appropriately escalate issues when needed.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships, document case activity accurately, and explain leave and accommodation programs clearly and professionally.
• Experience identifying process improvements, implementing standard practices, and driving operational excellence through consistent and accurate case administration.
• Experience using employee data, reporting tools, HRIS, case management, and knowledge management systems to support efficient administration and pay-impacting processes; advanced Excel skills preferred.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize competing demands, manage a high-volume workload, and effectively triage incoming work.
• Attention to detail, accountability, and a commitment to delivering accurate, timely, and compliant results.

The Team:

The HR Accommodation Team supports all U.S.-based associates and managers with reasonable accommodations under Fidelity's Reasonable Accommodation for Disabilities Policy and the Americans with Disabilities Act and Amendments Act (ADAAA) for associates with disabilities and medical conditions.

Fidelity’s Onsite Working Model
Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Currently, some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues. This transition does not apply to fully remote roles.
