Christmas is our busiest and most exciting time of year, and we're looking for enthusiastic, service-minded individuals to help create unforgettable experiences for our guests.

As a Seasonal Guest Engagement Specialist, you'll be the friendly voice behind some of our most meaningful guest interactions. Whether you're helping someone find the perfect outfit, tracking down a special order, or turning a challenging situation into a positive experience, you'll play an important role in delivering the exceptional service our guests know and love.

The Opportunity

As a Seasonal Guest Engagement Specialist, you'll support guests across Altar'd State, Altar'd State Kids, and AS Revival. You'll deliver thoughtful, personalized service across phone, live chat, email, and SMS while helping guests shop with confidence and creating experiences they'll remember.

What You'll Do

• Deliver exceptional guest service through phone, live chat, email, and SMS.

• Assist guests with placing orders, tracking shipments, processing returns, and answering billing inquiries.

• Resolve guest concerns quickly while striving for first-contact resolution whenever possible.

• Navigate multiple systems and applications simultaneously to research and resolve guest questions.

• Build trust and loyalty by providing warm, empathetic, solution-focused service.

• Learn our brands, products, promotions, and policies to confidently assist every guest.

• Partner with teammates and leaders to resolve more complex guest situations.

• Accurately document guest interactions while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with company policies.

• Contribute to a positive, collaborative team environment during our busiest season.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

• Excellent computer skills, including Google Workspace.

• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to sit for extended periods of time.

• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds.

• Availability to work evenings and weekends.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree.

• Six months or more of customer service experience.

• Retail, hospitality, or contact center experience.

Schedule

• Full-time seasonal position beginning in October 2026 and expected to continue through early January 2027.

• Employment is expected through early January. The assignment may end earlier or extend based on business needs and guest volume.

• Candidates must have flexible availability. Schedules and hours will adjust throughout the season based on guest demand.

• Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and throughout our peak Christmas season.

• Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day are scheduled days off.

• This is an on-site position located at our Home Office in Knoxville, TN. Remote work is not available.

Compensation & Perks

Starting Pay: $20.00 per hour
