The main focus of this role is to deliver against agreed Key Result Areas and targets for CPM by maximising orders and sales across assigned stores and all SKU's. The Territory Sales Developer role is a combination of sales, merchandising, and activation. They are responsible for the availability of core range, share of space, and activations within their geographical region.
The Primary Responsibilities for This Role Are:
- To provide nationwide sales cover in supermarkets to the core sales team.
- To increase business and maximise sales.
- To undertake any other duties and responsibilities as instructed by your line manager.
- Adhere to a defined retail call file and journey plan.
- Deliver and execute the agreed objectives and targets as set out by your line manager.
- Increase distribution and availability within store of the core range and process appropriate orders electronically for all stores to prevent gaps.
- Increase distribution and availability within store by implementing national and locally agreed planograms and promotions.
- Record all data accurately and submit in a timely manner on a daily basis.
- Sell in and build activations in line with company targets.
- Merchandise off-sales displays.
- Understand and identify the needs of the customer.
- Communicate effectively with store management and line managers.
- Provide feedback at regular intervals through verbal communication with your manager/coach and through electronically generated spreadsheets.
- Constantly strive to reach the highest standards of performance.
- Maintain CPM standards and brand requirements at all times.
- Attend a team conference call once a week and a team meeting once a month/quarter.
- Generate new ideas and ways of working.
- Consistently strive to reach the highest standards of performance for customers.
- Ensure at all times that you operate in an effective and efficient manner to complete all tasks.
Requirements
- Full clean driving licence is essential.
- Previous experience selling into Dunnes Stores is essential.
- A good understanding of the FMCG sector with knowledge of both the SuperValu and Convenience channels is also essential.
Person Specification
- As this is a nationwide role, overnight stays will be required.
- Must have energy and enthusiasm.
- Excellent interpersonal and time management skills.
- Attention to detail and target-driven mindset.
- Technology-aware with intermediate computer literacy skills (MS Word, Outlook, Power BI).
