Role Summary

Are you looking to kickstart your career in sales and learn what it takes to build pipeline at a fast-growing healthcare technology company? AdvancedMD is looking for a motivated Sales Intern to join our team this term. This is a hands-on opportunity to learn the fundamentals of B2B sales — from prospecting and qualifying leads to supporting our Account Executives through the deal cycle — while getting real exposure to how a sales-led SaaS organization operates day to day.

Essential Job Duties:

• Support the sales team with prospecting and lead research, helping identify and qualify potential customers
• Assist with outbound outreach (calls, emails, and other channels) under the guidance of senior sales staff
• Help maintain and update CRM records to ensure accurate, clean pipeline data
• Shadow Account Executives on calls and meetings to learn the sales process firsthand
• Support the team with basic reporting and pipeline tracking
• Take on ad hoc projects that support the broader sales and marketing organization

What You'll Need to Get the Job Done:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable learning new tools quickly (CRM, spreadsheets, email platforms)
• A proactive, curious attitude and willingness to ask questions
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment
• No prior sales experience required — just a genuine interest in learning
