Job Summary
This company is a leader in high-stakes laboratory and testing services, operating in a highly regulated and technical environment. We are looking for a high-performing B2B Sales Development Representative (SDR) to serve as the vital first point of contact for our prospective clients. This isn't a "spray-and-pray" volume game—this role is about precision, deep research, and high-quality engagement. You will manage rapid inbound lead qualification while executing sophisticated, personalized outbound prospecting to secure discovery meetings with decision-makers in the Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical, and Cosmetic industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary human point of contact for inbound inquiries, maintaining a response time of under one business hour.
- Conduct personalized outbound prospecting into named target accounts using email, LinkedIn, and cold calling.
- Research specific personas (QA/QC Managers, R&D, Regulatory Affairs) to understand their pain points before initiating outreach.
- Book qualified discovery meetings for Account Executives and ensure a smooth hand-off process.
- Map out target organizations to identify and engage key decision-makers and manufacturing leaders.
- Maintain rigorous CRM discipline within HubSpot, utilizing sequences and documenting all touchpoints.
- Reactivate dormant accounts through strategic follow-up and value-based messaging.
- Collaborate with the Sales Manager and Marketing Director to refine outreach strategies and meet pipeline goals.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of proven experience as a B2B SDR or BDR.
- Demonstrated track record of meeting-booking performance and pipeline generation.
- Proficiency in HubSpot, specifically with HubSpot Sequences and CRM management.
- Excellent professional written English with the ability to draft technical, needle-moving emails.
- Strong cold-calling skills and a comfortable, confident phone presence with US-based professionals.
- A research-first mindset: You prioritize quality outreach over raw activity volume.
- Technical curiosity: Ability to learn and accurately discuss complex scientific and regulatory concepts.
- Process-driven and coachable: Willing to follow established structures and act on feedback.
- Ability to work US Central Time (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM CT).
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience in Life Sciences, Medical Devices, Pharmaceuticals, or Technical B2B Services.
- Familiarity with prospecting tools such as Apollo, Outreach, Salesloft, or LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
- Experience building lead lists and performing data enrichment.
- Background in navigating regulated industries and interacting with QA/QC or Procurement personas.
