Akur8 works with customers across multiple entities, currencies and billing processes. This role ensures that signed contracts are accurately reflected in our systems, invoices are issued on time and payment issues are followed up efficiently.

You will work at the intersection of Finance, Sales Ops and our customers. You will also play an important role in improving the Salesforce to Maxio process, replacing manual checks with automated controls and making contract and billing data more reliable for the Finance team.

You will join Akur8’s Finance team and own the process from contract signature to payment collection. Your scope will cover all entities and currencies, including new contracts, renewals, upsells, amendments and terminations. You will register each signed contract in Salesforce, create the corresponding customer and contract in Maxio, issue invoices and follow up on outstanding payments.

You will work closely with Sales Ops on contract information and with customers, procurement teams and accounting departments on invoicing and payment follow-up. Accounting activities such as recording cash receipts and revenue recognition are outside the scope of this role.

This will include, but not be limited to, the following responsibilities:

• Reviewing signed contracts and amendments, comparing them with the information recorded in Salesforce and identifying specific cases such as prorated contracts, in-period upsells and terminations.

• Creating customers and contracts in Maxio, including the identifiers required for electronic invoicing.

• Issuing invoices and credit notes in Maxio and uploading them to customer portals such as Coupa and Ariba when required.

• Reviewing automated annual indexation results, handling exceptions such as inflation caps or specific contractual clauses and ensuring updated values are reflected in Salesforce.

• Contacting customers with overdue invoices and working with their accounting and procurement teams on purchase orders, portals and disputes.

• Sharing payment delays with Sales Ops, supporting follow-up with the relevant sales teams and helping address the underlying causes.

• Tracking the monthly accounts receivable ageing report, overdue balances and DSO.

• Acting as the Finance point of contact for Salesforce data-entry rules, Salesforce to Maxio integration testing and recurring data discrepancies.

• Identifying repetitive tasks that can be automated with Claude and other team tools, then supporting their implementation through to production.

• Helping ensure that Maxio reports are reliable for FP&A forecasting, budgeting and financial models.

This role is based in our Paris office.

EDUCATIONAL / PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

• You have 3+ years of experience in sales administration, including billing and collections, ideally in a B2B SaaS company.

• You have worked with contracts involving renewals, upsells, amendments and multiple currencies or entities.

• You have experience with a CRM to billing system integration.

• You understand the basic principles of revenue recognition.

• You have knowledge of electronic invoicing requirements in France.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

• You use Salesforce and a billing platform on a daily basis.

• Experience with Maxio, Zuora, Chargebee or an equivalent tool is preferred.

• You are comfortable working with contract, billing and payment data.

• You understand how system integrations work and can identify inconsistencies between tools.

• You have a practical automation mindset and look for ways to replace repetitive manual tasks with reliable controls or reports.

SOFT SKILLS

• You are organized, thorough and comfortable managing detailed information.

• You can identify issues early and follow them through to resolution.

• You are comfortable challenging information when needed and communicating firmly while remaining tactful.

• You take ownership of your work and can operate independently.

• You communicate clearly with customers and internal stakeholders across different teams.

• You are comfortable working across several topics and adapting to changing priorities.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

• You have strong verbal and written communication skills in both French & English and are happy working in a multicultural environment
